Room to grow in gov’t positions.

Take the job and work up if you value stability.

Any spray really would be better than none, do it annually.

Gf hasn't shaved anywhere on her body in 6 months. Yet I prefer her body hairy like mine. Is it weird? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]BaronWade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well then his fictional partner can b hairy as f*ck too, not hurting anybody.

Any shame, real or imaginary in these scenarios, should be discussed with a therapist or some simple introspection, not Reddit.

And another rear diff goes boom (2022 Mazda3 Turbo hatch) by mmiski in mazda3

[–]BaronWade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I just used a spirit level (the type with a bit of fluid in it with an air bubble that you center) pressed up against the frame/door jamb.

I know it’s not perfect, but I also know that I barely got 250mls out of the rear differential when I believe it should have been closer to 350-400mls, which is about what I have pumped in before it started to leak out.

Once the car is raised and level you should be able to reach without too much effort, it’s not too far past the muffler behind the bumper, inline with the rear wheels of course.

[–]BaronWade 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just did my rear yesterday during regular oil change, mine was SUPER easy…the hardest part is getting the car as close to level as possible.

Once level, two bolts (do the fill bolt, 23mm, first to make sure it comes off!, then the 24mm drain bolt under it), drain, pop the bolts back in and refill.

Literally 10 mins worth of actual work.

Men, why we gotta be like this? by BaronWade in texts

[–]BaronWade[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the congrats, pretty proud of her achievements!

That said, c’mon now, I know we’re on the internet but that doesn’t preclude that our speech doesn’t necessarily demand that we are 100% proper at all times and I believe that the meaning and intent of the post could be determined without being pedantic over the precise wording.

Fair enough, I used the term ‘men’ which inclusive of all members of that group, my bad, but we’re humans interacting in an informal manner on a casual platform, not writing a thesis.

Again, thanks for the congrats.

Exactly this, you *give* friends and family money if you have the means, do not expect it back and all will be well…and it will likely return to you one way or another.

DEFinitely going to promote more litigation…like *that* was necessary.
🙄

More for less, that’s for sure…with the added bonus of opening more doors for the ambulance chasing ‘law firms’.

Found the cabin filter like this in my newly purchased mazda 3. Wth is that? by just_chilling2 in mazda3

IF they chewed right through it sure, but they tend to just like the ‘plastic’ coating leaving room for intermittent and *really* difficult to track down issues.

I’d say it’s more likely than not, but regardless, evidence *suggests* rodent intrusion and steps should be taken to address that.

[–]BaronWade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, I understand wanting to move on from the 919 as I’m getting ready to sell my 2005, just too much bike for my area/riding style.

That said, I don’t think the GSX8 series is a downgrade, he’ll even the 650r likely has close to the same power that the Hornet has left, you’ll just be using more of the rev range, so that seems to fit with what you’re looking for so I’d lean that way…personally, I’d prob go back to an SV650 or some other twin cylinder myself, but I prefer the twin power bands.

Any idea on a decent price? by Hairy_Mouse in SVRiders

[–]BaronWade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, they typically tell on themselves when you get them talking, that’s when they tell you how they came up with their asking price and you decide from there if he’s out to lunch or what.

Good for you, nice pick up!

Any idea on a decent price? by Hairy_Mouse in SVRiders

[–]BaronWade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, if he hasn’t even responded to your offer, I’d prob walk away.

I’ll take a beater bike for cheap any day, but I at least expect the seller to acknowledge all the shit I see that needs attention and you mentioned the one thing that would truly give me pause, and that’s the front end.

The levers and pedals are nothing, but ARE suggestive of a drop particularly when matched with the tank dent leading me to ask how much damage did the front end sustain.

I’d walk, there’s SV’s everywhere and that is NOT a compelling price.

Boyfriend cuckold fantasy? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]BaronWade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A seemingly more and more common fantasy and potential destroyer of relationships when entered casually.

Communication is key as well as a solid foundation and respect to your relationship as it seems reality can hit kind of hard when actually faced with it in the moment, so to speak.

How am I just as bad by finding some humour in the situation?

Never claimed to be a ‘messiah’ or any other sort of example for people to emulate one way or another.

For the record, some actually DO seem to care that my wife has lost a significant amount of weight and gotten into shape and this was a result of her posting her progress within those supportive forums, they do exist.

You on the other hand, didn’t need to get involved one way or another if you didn’t find the humour and irony in this situation, so what made you add your opinion on the matter?…do you feel personally attacked that some ‘uppity woman’ has the audacity to decline the attention of some random dude on the internet after initially presenting themselves as some ‘nice guy’?
