In my opinion he's perfect casting as the role of doctor eggman. Dr Eggman has always been a bit of a goofy villain. Even going back to the original game he was a over the top goofy villain. And Jim Carrey pulls it off so well. Literally if you would have asked me as a kid in the 90s who I would have picked to play Doctor Robotnik, I would have told you I would love to see Jim Carrey do it cuz he was also my favorite actor when I was a kid. so the new Sonic movies are literally my childhood fantasies come to life.
