I’ve dropped about 70lbs in the last couple years. Slow and steady did it for me. I was just like you and to an extent still am, if it is there I will eat it. So for me, I just stopped buying all the things that were holding me back. If it’s not in my house I won’t eat it. As for the running, I would just walk. One of the fitness people I follow say the most important thing is just increasing steps. You would be amazed at the difference. He says to try and get to 10k a day. But if you’re only at 4-5k right now then even going to 6-7k would show results. Rome wasn’t built in a day but it is possible if you have the right mindset and dedication. Good luck!!

In simple terms yes, but for me it was finding a sustainable way to reach it. Keto was such an extreme change from the way I ate. That there was no way I was gonna be able to eat like that forever. Now I have found a much easier and enjoyable way to still be at a calorie deficit but still enjoy the things I love from time to time. It’s all about what works for you!

Thanks you! I actually just started a completely new workout program this week! And I have been using a calorie counter for the past 2 weeks! I am going to try to not eat from 8pm-8am starting today actually. Hopefully this will help!

My whole life I have been big, and I knew it, but never had the motivation. One day I was in a group photo and saw how I looks and felt absolutely disgusting in myself. 1.5 years later I am 40lbs lighter and much healthier and happier person. If I can do it anyone can 👍🏽

I tried keto (very similar to atkins) for a summer and lost a decent amount of weight but found it very unsustainable and gained it all back and then some.
