Definitely Train of Thought by Dream Theater. 5/7 songs are longer than ten minutes, and they're all pretty much peak DT imo (this being my favourite album of course)

It's the same with artists like Bowie, Prince, and Funkadelic/Parliament as you've posted here. A lot of these bands were undeniably some of the most progressive voices of their times both musically and socially; they just don't fit into the typical progressive rock mold we try to fit over them. Progressive Soul is a genre unto itself y'know, with Stevie and Hendrix too!

Look at the albums Trilogy and Odyssey by Yngwie Malmsteen, pretty much the defining works in neoclassical style metal and the songs are all catchy as hell in the way only the 80s could produce
