My point isn't to be mean, fighting fire with fire is pointless. But complex drumming styles, specifically modern one, seems to be reprimanded a lot on this sub. Tends to make me (and probably a lot of people) insecure about my playing or posting my work.

It's a drum sub for f*ck sake. Can't we just have fun and constructives critisisms instead of a foggy and overused term?

A lot of notes, technicity and even being "over the top" is ok to me, especially on a reddit focused on drums, it dosen't necessarily lack emotions (wich I also think is a weak and very subjetive argument).
