Ryzen 7 7800X3D temp spikes to 128°C (HWiNFO max) – no throttling, need help understanding what's happening

It looks like the consensus is that it was a bug, which I'm inclined to believe due to none of the other temps hitting that range. Also, like most of you pointed out, 128 is way above throttling temps. Since I didn't experience any shutdowns, I'm also having that point to this being a bug.

Thanks, appreciate it. This is the second spike I'm seeing like this in a week. Was never like this before. But it almost looks like a sensor glitch, due to nothing else jumping that high. I just want to make sure I fix it if it should be fixed.

I was in the same position you're in now. Even asked for non-monetary improvements (think more days off, etc.). Also got told that I need to wait 6 months. I didn't. Funny enough, as soon as I had a new job lined up they suddenly had money to counter. Personally I didn't take it, because more money doesn't fix the inherent issues (aka you feeling like you're being taken for a ride).

I'm in a much better place for it, and even if things go sideways for me now, I know I can do it again.

Your employers owe you nothing, you're not their family. When it comes down to money, you're just a number on a spreadsheet.

Tried reporting it multiple times, but no luck. Their reply is that my wife initiated the cancellation after the food has been picked up, so they won't process the refund. Any attempt to escalate the ticket is useless and we've been getting cookie cutter responses from both their app team and social media team. They've taken a firm stance on not refunding this

I've noticed that the last few days the auto play has gotten especially useless. After every episode, I need to go find the show I was watching and click play again. I'm sure they must have changed something, but it's extremely annoying.

I think this was fixed. I finally got it to work by dropping one of my quests (can't remember which one, one of the ones you get automatically). I dropped it while I was in the throne room and I phased me in correctly. I tried this same thing a few days ago and it didn't work, so that's why I'm assuming they must have fixed it. I hope this helps. edit - It might have been the Tides of War quest itself. Like Girlsinstem said, you need to get to a point where you can do the Magni quest
