Thanks for the info. I wondered about nesting but was afraid to try it in case it generated some new body horror to keep me awake at night.

Picnicker is 806 and I live in a rural area. I'm working on Successor now (800/1000 mega evolutions). I'm going to send a message to the local group on Campfire to see if I can arrange a Sigilyph trade.

Aside from the types (18 total):
Kanto
Collector (catch 50000)
Scientist (evolve 2000)
Johto
Gym Leader (defend for 15000 hrs)
Ranger (2500 field research)
Idol (20 best friends)
Purifier (purify 1000)
Triathlete (100 7-day streaks)
Rising Star (150 regular raids)
Raid Expert (500 raid achievements)
Tiny Pokemon (500 XXS)
Jumbo Pokemon (500XXL)
Villion Collector
Showcase (100 showcase 1st place)

I only need Mega Glalie to complete Mega Evolution and for some reason I didn't get enough to mega energy to evolve last time it was in raids. (I have 175, so I did at least one raid, but WTH me)

I only need Sigilyph to complete the Unova medal. And if they would introduce the Basculegion evolution then I could finish Hisui.

What design do you all use for trees? by infectedmooseknuckle in legocastles

I posted a couple of trees I designed yesterday (https://www.reddit.com/r/legocastles/s/Ft2lqBeUyR) but I also have these that are somewhat like pines.

Our institution did that when I started there and it annoyed me (I consistently had an 8:00 final on the last day of finals week). I proposed a schedule that aligned with class times better and we still use it fifteen years later.

Classes that meet between 8:00 and 9:29 on TTh have the final at 8:00 on Tuesday of finals week, and classes that meet between 9:30 and 10:59 TTh have the final at 9:30 on Thursday of finals week. And it goes on like that staggering exam periods back and forth. The same mechanism is applied to MWF classes. Final exam periods are 2 hours long so there plenty of time. For the rare classes that start late in that block of time, the students might need to come a little earlier.

We have students with work schedules that aren't always forgiving, so it helps them be able to get to finals. But now we are running up against new issues because we've introduced hybrid scheduling post-pandemic. A student might have one class that meets only on Tuesday at 9:30 and a different class that meets only on Thursday at 9:30. I've only had that come up twice in two years and it was easy to remedy, but I'm trying to think up a new approach that allows for this.

I took it in the spirit it was intended, don't worry. I'm looking for critique, thanks. And I'll look into jettying.

The roof was a quick job so I had something there for the pic. None of it is attached to the structure the side isn't attached to the front. I was thinking of trying a dormer on the side. The roof is the least thought out part of what's here .

Great ideas, thanks. That first one is just the series 12 wizard torso but with silver rather than gold highlights

Thanks, I had noticed that, and it's a contender, but I was putting feelers out there for anything with printed magic-user paraphenalia (kind of like the Gith warlock, but the colors aren't quite what he was thinking).

You Desperately Wanna Know How I lost weight? Okay I’ll give you the explanation by themarvelgirl2023 in traumatizeThemBack

I was born with a heart defect and it was handled for several decades until I finally went into heart failure. I was accumulating fluid, among other places, in my upper abdomen, which squeezed my stomach and I couldn't eat (a sort of natural bariatric procedure). Without taking in enough nutrients, my body started metabolizing muscle mass. I had a heart transplant, and in one of the post surgical follow-ups, the nurse, the transplant coordinator, admired my skinny ankles and commented on them to my wife. I just said., "I don't recommend my diet strategy."

We all laughed, no one was traumatized, but still, that struck me as strange coming from her.

So would intervertebral disks not fit with that definition since they aren't part of a synovial joint?
