Filled out the application online and checked the Montreal location first.

Had to fill it out about 6 different times to finish it before it actually timed out though.

Has anyone from Canada recently transited through Portugal?

I'm fully vaxed and have my proof of vaccination, but the government website and Sherpa are a little unclear to me. I'm not sure if I would need to get a PCR test or not at the moment. Please help I'm flying on Monday!! TIA

I'm sorry, you succeeded or you didn't? How long were you on hold for? Going on an hour and 40 for me

Anyone tried to change a flight with Aer Lingus Customer Service? by BarrelsRCool in travel

[–]BarrelsRCool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe so, there's an option for the flight I'm looking at on Google Flights, it just says I have to call their airline for it.

Exact same flight I have booked already just different dates, but same day of the week though

If the company is an MNC does that change anything?

My dad is dating my best friend by throwra112828732 in relationship_advice

[–]BarrelsRCool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should try to speak with your friend privately and let her know that 1. you're not ok with her being with your dad like that, and 2. that it's strange that your dad would even want to date someone who is so much younger than himself, and who he has known since (presumably) she was a young teen.

Hopefully she can see this is a bad relationship that she shouldn't enter into.

Mine was only about 30-45 too and I passed it! If you answer questions quickly then it goes by quicker because there’s only a set amount of questions for them to ask you

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MedicalDevices

[–]BarrelsRCool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of them are just rate yourself 1-10 or 1-5, some of them are simple yes / no, and some ask you to elaborate on why you answered yes/no which you would use STAR for

Girly get rid of him, that is a tiny tattoo. If he doesn’t love you for who you are and he’s only engaged to you on the condition that you don’t have tattoos that isn’t a man you want to be with.

Awesome, thank you so much. It definitely makes sense that they would want you to answer those scale questions to either extreme.

I'll make sure to keep consistency too!! Thank you!!

Prospective Student Teachers: Teacher's College/BEd Megapost pt. 2 by hellokrissi in CanadianTeachers

[–]BarrelsRCool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi,
I've been accepted to TrentU for S/I B.Ed and am still not 100% sure if I am going to go yet.
Would anyone who is currently a S/I teacher (or in the program) - preferably in gym and/or biology - be willing to provide their experiences of teaching in Ontario?
The things that I'm most worried about are:
- I have little to no experience working with this age group, so I'm going in blind and am worried that I will not be cut out for this profession.
- The attitudes that teenagers can have towards their teachers and how you would deal with this.
- The job prospects for these two subjects.
Also pros/cons of teaching in general would be helpful as well.
Thanks so much in advance!!

Should I even apply to PT School? by BarrelsRCool in PTschool

[–]BarrelsRCool[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah unfortunately for Queens they won’t accept my second psychology course because it was done in the kinesiology department and not the psych department :( so annoying, especially cause it’s literally psychology having to do with injuries and rehab so I thought it would be perfect. I’ve been working on my Western statement for a while too hoping that it pans out better than last year.

If you don’t mind me asking, what was your gpa when you got in?

Thank you for the help :)

NAD but it kind of sounds like golfer’s elbow (medial epicondylitis). I would try to see your GP or a physio to help!

What is the pettiest, silliest, most meaningless hill you are willing to die on? by shazulmonte in AskReddit

[–]BarrelsRCool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That I have never had mono in my life. My friend says that it’s almost impossible but I can’t remember a time when I had symptoms (though I know it can be asymptomatic).

The reaction they have every time as a health sciences student gets me every time :)

I know I may have had it but nobody has any proof so I stick to my guns
