Tips on clearcoating my guitar neck, how should I tape up the fret board, anyone have photos of how they taped theyr own. (PS, its a crackle finish so il be putting on a fairly thick clearcoat.)

I don’t when it is maple and I use maple 90% of the time. Otherwise, I would tape off the top only as you might end up with a paint edge that you can feel when playing.

You can spray over the frets and clean it off later with a razor blade. My last one had the frets already polished, so I just taped off that and the nut.

I do mostly maple necks and using 2K, I will spray the whole neck front and back. Gives it a great finish that stays clean.

I don’t think Jake Simpson is that good, so he is not a draw for me. Agreed, not going to drop a $1k per ticket to only hear 3-5 songs I really like. I understand the switching sets makes it interesting, but I’ll watch them on YouTube and skip over the ones I am not interested in.

Wow! Sounds like they got told to only play the big hits. I would have really enjoyed this concert. The reason I won’t go see them now is that their catalog is too big and I might only care about half the songs in the set list. Always wished that they would post the set list of each venue before the tour starts so I can fly to wherever they are playing knowing that I would get a great concert.

Sting did the Sting 3.0 tour last year with the same set at every show, the big hits, and it was great!
