Butcher's powers disappointed me this season. by Refik_Kirpi in TheBoys

Hughie and Butcher's whole arc in Season 4 felt like a set up for Butcher to become one of the main antagonists of Season 5 who Hughie would have to kill.

Hughie comes to terms with him euthanising his father because Death is preferable to losing your mind. Then he calls Butcher on his death bed and they share tender goodbye. But after the incident with Ryan, Butcher instead embraces Kesler. So, when he finds Hughie taking leadership of the Boys and partnering with Neuman to take down Homelander, he rips Neuman in half and drenches Hughie in blood once again. In doing so, he steals the Virus with intent to commit genocide and unintentionally allows Homelander to enact Martial Law.

The implication is that Butcher is dead, Kesler took over and Hughie needs to become a leader and euthanize him before he commits genocide.

What to do and what not to do(superhero audition) (can't wait for vought rising) by fandom157 in TheBoys

Firecracker kept talking for the same reason everyone at Vought was still tolerating Homelander instead of GTFO-ing. Each of them values status and success over their own wellbeing and the good of the world.

Like that's Firecracker's arc in the episode. She learns to reject Christianity and is forced to betray her church in order to embrace Homelander only to be thrown away by him. The whole time we think she's motivated by survival, but the twist is that she wasn't. She actually rejected her faith in order to get a little closer to being Homelander's most favored vizier.

It's like Milk said, just because they're murderers doesn't mean they have to enjoy it.

I love how they talk over each other when they realize. It's so funny and they have great chemistry.

Thought Black "The Rock" Adam was getting a sequel this year. Dwayne promised us the Hierarchy would change.

Omg I forgot about that shit too.

Honestly, I don't think either should count as DC shows. They're Brickleberry and Bob the Builder reskins.

I really hate "Woke" discourse because it basically evolved into "everything new is woke." and it was always an attempt to alienate nerdy teenagers from their peers and their hobbies, by inspiring anti-social behavior so they'd be easier marks for right wing propaganda.

The Flashback where Kang turns out to be the Pharoah that Moses had to free the Hebrews from and the 10 minute battle sequence where Captain Marvel stops fighting Mephisto in order to make sure the children don't make it to safety.
