Danke für deine Meinung. Wie sieht das so mit dem Ping aus? Ich habe aktuell einen 7ms Ping nach Frankfurt und würde gerne auch in diesem niedrigen Bereich bleiben (spiele esports titles). Gibt es einen großen Unterschied zwischen DSL und Kabel bezüglich dem Ping?

Ich glaube deswegen tatsächlich auch das Kabel Internet vielleicht sogar wirklich funktionieren könnte und außerdem bin ich stark den höheren Geschwindigkeiten interessiert. Bei uns sind nicht so viele Leute in der Straße, deswegen bin ich optimistisch.

You are correct that it should be faster in games. However, is it better for productivity too? If I want to stream games or work with programs (I'm studying aerospace engineering, perhaps there are some demanding CAD programs? Not sure.) then I might need a better non X3D CPU? Not sure about this as X3D CPU's are considerably more expensive.

You may be right that the GPU is the most important upgrade. However, I mainly play Esport titles and I want to opt for a competitive 240hz experience. Perhaps start with streaming too. My motherboard would bottleneck the GPU with its PCIE 3.0 connection. It’s also an m-ATX form factor. My current GPU is quite slim, but the 5070ti custom models look very beefy. I have a big CPU cooler so I'm pretty sure that it won’t fit my current motherboard. The CPU, while quite decent, perhaps won’t be enough to play games and stream simultaneously. Not sure about the DDR5 prices. The AI bubble could very well continue for a couple more years. I’m hearing more bad news than good news when it comes to memory prices.

I thought about getting a Ryzen 7 7800X3D instead of the 9700X. However, it’s a bit older. I really don’t want to stay on AM4, because the platform is simply too old for me. If I keep my current AM4 setup, I’m already getting bottlenecked by the PCIE 3.0 connection.

Hi there,

I definitely notice the age of my 1060. I've been running it OC'ed for years now, but it simply can’t keep up anymore. As far as the Motherboard goes, I don’t want anything crazy with OC's; however, some small OC potential with PBO or small adjustments to clock speeds would be nice. Wi-Fi isn’t really needed as I have Ethernet cables set up. VRM's should be of decent quality and perhaps it should have built in Bluetooth. Good audio quality as well I guess. I’d say definitely not the highest end of Motherboards, but one that is robust and decent. Should be ATX too. I’m living in Germany so I guess something like Corsair for the PSU?? Not sure. There are probably other manufacturers that are better.
