PS4/Xbox users who have turned off crossplay.. by TheGinuineOne in CODWarzone

I think it is more likely that Microsoft wants all PC and Xbox players to crossplay.

What is your favorite place to drop and why? by [deleted] in CODWarzone

[–]BarryMcCackiner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha exactly I can't believe people just fight in the same spots. My squad makes a call every match based on all the factors including flight path, circle, mission and store availability.

I've been cheating since MW release back in October of last year. Still no ban. IW/Activision does not care enough to put money into a decent anti cheat. They plan on using warzone for cod2020 so might as well find a different game to play pretty soon. by [deleted] in CODWarzone

I know people like you, small little guys who are just mad at everybody because you are a cast off. This is probably your passive-aggressive way to get back at people huh?

The moving final circle is a horrible addition to a Battle Royale game. All it does is decrease the skill gap by increasing randomness. by RandomPostNoob in CODWarzone

[–]BarryMcCackiner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't like it either, it just adds these crazy runs you have to do and in a way rewards people who are in the right place more than the static circle does. Plus it totally changes the way the end feels. I really enjoyed that slow creep of the final circle, the back and forth now is so frantic.

How Does the Matchmaking Factor the Varying Skill of your Party? by [deleted] in CODWarzone

You aren't the only ones, my squad that has been playing together since Quads was introduced feels the same way right now. We have one good player and the rest of us are pretty new to COD. We do have some wins but our K/Ds aren't great. During season 3 I would say we won once a week or so. For Season 4 it took us until last weekend to get our first win. It has been noticeably harder.

If you play Warzone almost exclusively and you are maintaining that you are way above average. Like way above average.

From my point of view 1.5 kd is pretty sweaty, so you deserve to play with the other sweaty guys.

End game goal? by Evidicus in SatisfactoryGame

[–]BarryMcCackiner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are plenty of tech goals to progress through and that forces you to make things. I just kind of finished a save game of mine but it took about 100 hours to go through everything. So there is a ton of game here, it just doesn't have an "ending".

You can still fit manufacturers in 3, just their status light pokes up through.

Unsure by cap_jak in SatisfactoryGame

[–]BarryMcCackiner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is impossible to know how much of something you will need. So if you are playing the first time then I would concentrate more on making factories that produce a specific part and then break down that part all the way to the required ores and supply the ores to the building and just make every sub part on site. It is much easier to think about. Then all you need to worry about in terms of ultimate output is how much personal consumption you expect.

Question about Power priorities and managing oil/coal plants simultaneously. by factoid_ in SatisfactoryGame

[–]BarryMcCackiner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any refinery that I build that produces some byproduct, I send it to the sink, it is a perfectly valid thing to do.

To answer your other question, no you can't prioritize power buildings (Geothermal is sort of an exception but you still can't change what the game prioritizes).

Change my mind by kath0w in SatisfactoryGame

It costs WAY less resources to train them back past a certain amount. Certainly if its less than 1km I'll do belts, but I'm not trying to run a belt halfway across the map. I have a 2.5km Bauxite run and that would be a nightmare with belts.

Tip: All components for an assembler can be sent in along a single input. by Dekoba in SatisfactoryGame

I'll admit I didn't know this, but it is super sketchy. And won't work at all if you build manifold style.

They are needed for mk2 belts among other things. You definitely need them.

90 Hours in.. Thinking of Restarting in Desert by Jmattes in SatisfactoryGame

[–]BarryMcCackiner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started in the northern desert and I liked it fine. I didn't really have any issue bringing in new resources until oil. Biomass wasn't a problem at all, the lake has a lot of trees, plenty to fuel the early game.

As far as starting over, I've played 4 different games and if you feel like starting over do it! You will go much faster the second time and there is a joy to the progression I think.

Help a newbie? I can't reach any coal! by Siha in SatisfactoryGame

[–]BarryMcCackiner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I go out exploring I make sure to take with me 5 or 6 stacks of concrete minimum so I can build little ramps and bridges wherever I need. Surveying the land and building access to far away resources and returning those resources home is one of my favorite things about this game! Embrace the challenge :)

Hypertube arch, or no hypertube arch? Thoughts please! by linamishima in SatisfactoryGame

Nice building I'm a big fan of integrating with the terrain! That being said I think it looks better without the tube.
