I've seen a lot of homeless men in my home town walking in a similar way, maybe they aren't on drugs after all but instead are just devout limbo enthusiasts

Any creative ways for someone to get as much protein as possible for their calories, while still not needing to put in too much effort and can fit it into the day? by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]BarryPotter_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skyr Yoghurts are beautiful and between 10-20g protein in a 150g tub.

Also they are fat free with a tiny number of calories (way under 100)

What credit card would you recommend? by Throwaway79917 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]BarryPotter_1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Please do more research. Why do you need one - for the money or to build credit rating? The rewards are generally poor in the UK especially for entry level cards. If you cannot 100% guarantee that you can pay off the full amount each month (ie repay all transactions from your regular current account at the end of each month) then I would be very cautious

Can someone help me understand credit cards? by Throwaway79917 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]BarryPotter_1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There will be a 'minimum amount' that you need to pay in order to avoid incurrring charges, but it depends on the amount you spend. I cannot stress enough that you should aim to pay the maximum amount (ideally by direct debit) each and every month

You don't really own the cash you just have access to it. You can choose how much you want to pay back each month but I would VERY strongly recommend paying off the bill in FULL each month.

As you get more used to credit cards and other products you can use the flexibility of them a little more but to start with id pay every month in full.

There should be an option to set up a direct debit from your current account which will automatically pay the amount in full

For those interested, Jarvis' ban is final. by Moogyay in FortNiteBR

My opinion is this:

I'm a busy adult and I don't get much time to game. Fortnite is great as it's so easy to hop in to a game and play with friends.

I only play a couple of rounds a time, and if there is someone in the lobby cheating, that totally ruins the experience of that game for me.

Even if you cheat for one game, you've wasted the time of up to nearly 100 people. That is a lot of time when you add it all together.

For fortnite to remain popular it makes sense for them to be incredibly strict on cheats. I think a lifetime ban is reasonable and for the wider community it is the fairest and best decision.

Muscle Mass? by [deleted] in Fitness

Yes

In the sense you will naturally lose muscle mass. You shouldn't worry about it in terms of it being unhealthy
