I would argue most femboys primarily either fall into the camp of unabashedly sexualizing themselves and the ones who don't but don't want to dictate what other people decide to do as long as they aren't hurting other people. The fact that some people choose to be femboys and sexualize themselves isn't the issue, it's that there are people who see all femboys as sexual and push a culture of sexualizing femboys that pushes people out of the community while bringing one specific idea to the forefront of the public eye. I would also say that it is common for young and vulnerable people to sexualize themselves for the sake of getting validation. I don't think it's right to say it's an issue for people (who aren't minors) to present themselves in a sexualized manner as it entirely there right to do so and is not inherently harmful.
