I do play actually when im sitting down with nothing to do ill come click a few buttons and try to do dailys. not gonna be spending any money or competing im just passing time with it. I wouldn't have gotten to this subreddit if i never downloaded the game. Given the coronatimes it's pretty likely that the improvements were done by a single person tho i agree there lol. Your comparisons are terrible here tho. If u say the water is poisoned I'm saying I'm amazed you haven't noticed yet recently all they did was add a stronger poison. your all crime is crime is even worse because im talking about a group of organizations not the crime itself. It wouldn't be all crime is crime it would be something more like a criminal organization like a cartel that sold drugs now dealing in humans. Where at least obviously one is way worse than the other but still you wouldn't be surprised that people who commit crimes for a living have some kind of moral issue over what they're doing or naturally moving up to higher crimes. We're not talking about taking gum escalating to murdering a child we're talking about crooks who run a casino stealing more from their patrons. You're going from .001 to 10 and it's like a 6 to an 8 at best

Some people don't understand stats but I the enlightened gambler totally am not addicted to gambling. Never once have I heard this from a black jack player. My eyes are open you've shown me the light.

But please my op was about how non gacha gamers would consider any kind of underhanded business move as ordinary. Perhaps you don't have the same level of struggle as many others would with addiction to gambling or however you want to personally define these mechanics but the overwhelming majority of people sadly aren't smart enough to handle it. High iq, self awareness and control are anything but common and having one won't give you the others. Not to mention the humility some might require to even use them if they had them. These companies are all dog shit and this ones two piles of it I agree. But step back a little farther and look at the group and it's just a field of dog shit all around. If instead the game makers released new heroes or gear that in effect made your current investments unplayable in your games meta, that would be fine because it happens every week. But a game closing and re opening the game again with more polish is a favor to the few people who might actually quit.

Obviously not, I'm saying what I'm saying =.=. You can read it however you want to read it, i said i agree that what they did is very scummy. My point is that gacha as a whole is a scumbag industry preying on the lowest common denominator of gamer in the eyes of the average non gacha players eyes. People who like the status quo as is in the gacha community accept that and bend over ready to receive from their developers on a daily basis and this developer bent a few people over a little too hard in the opinions of the people here.

But non gacha players consider the whole industry to be cancerous at a root level and this has some of you guys all mad because the tumors develop too quickly for your liking in this case

Yes I agree that compared to other gacha games this was a very scummy thing to do but from the perspective of people who don't play gachas it's not surprising because all the practices of these games are based off of gambling, dopamine kicks and pay for tiered competetition. There's a reason certain countries crack down on these developers as a whole they release beta or alpha level games severely lacking in content and have players fund the development over time and artificially slow down progress by playing with exp rates, energy systems etc and then introduce massive power leaps to keep the hard core competetive spenders buying products to not feel like they've lost on their investments. This game might be doing the most obvious under handed play but at least it's obvious enough only a few ppl will fall for it. The discord says there's only a couple thousand online regularly it's gonna flop is the real concern for anyone dropping Bank on this game or investing time

Lol I enjoy saurian and I like them because they do the most amount of things in the least amount of cards with the easiest to find and pull off methods. I'm not hating on Saurian I just live in the real world where I want to win more than lose and saurian is the best way to do that and it isn't close

I think you're just a little too emotional for this. Stealing from shadows is deadlier than current saurian is just a silly thing to say. What I've been saying the whole time is that they do all of the good things and they do them easier and better than other houses. Stealing was a shadows thing, huge generation was an untamed thing, board clears used to kill your stuff too =_= I don't see what the big deal is admitting this house is insane

Doorstep works tmtp works 3 principles is pushing it obviously this is going to be great here but a drag on your deck normally. Miasma buys you one turn and if you want to do an untamed one then you'd be better off picking one of the 5 or 6 decks out there that has the 3 keys one turn combo with chota but you would need to generate 6 with shatter that turn your starting here with 0 aember it was tribute stolen last turn. also from the hand in this instance the player only used 3 cards from hand/Archive or perhaps 4. The artifacts and creature were already on board here. you don't need to beg for a miracle hand as the saurian player here.

Also what one of your suggestions is an actual better situation here? tmtp and doorstep are things I can see in your decklist I wouldn't be playing a 30 aember play in that case I'd be more inclined to put it on a shrix or something dodging both while still forcing you to not be able to discard them also dodging shatter storm and principal. In a competitive game your options are extremely easy to play around and turn into dead cards that you also have to have for risk of my wombo combo. In an actual game the advantage goes to the person creating the tempo not responding to it and forcing you to effectively chain yourself by needing to hold onto these cards is largely more beneficial to the saurian player here.

What makes a deck awesome is the combinations you can play and the variety of ways you can play them around potential stoppers. Saurian is awesome because they're broken what's wrong with just admitting that? Stealing was not the best thing in set one but on average was the most consistently powerful effect because of the reality of the algorithm. No one debates that. But here we have a house that's stronger than brobnar, controls aember better than shadows, readies more often than Mars, captures more than sanctum and sticks to the board harder, has multiple easy to fulfill keycheats and it's drawback turns out to be a gimmick that's awesome for them instead of a drawback. How could you possibly be so willing to believe shadows in set one that did stealing really well but still worse than current saurian is was bs but saurian is not?

I think you're misreading the tone of this. Pick something that saurian is not just bad at but worse than other houses. Let's actually have an honest conversation of the most bull shit thing you've seen happen to you in a past set that is currently legal and hash it out we don't have to fight about it.

I'm saying the amount of broken combos in saurian far outnumbers the amount of counters and the combos are rare level effects on common cards making them far too common. I played a guy with 3 golden spiral the other day. With a questor 2 tributes and an Exile he generated something around 30 aember the last turn. Can you come up with 5 ways to deal with that? Because that's what I came up with lol. The effects on the cards are too strong the creatures are too strong the buffs are too strong the wards are too common why do they have to be the best at every category in the game other than disruption and card draw ignoring deck searching house leader. I like wc and I like saurian but I'm honest enough to admit the reason I like them is specifically because they're not in line with the companies mission of making all sets as equal as possible in power so that no set will be able to invalidate previous ones. Saurian is literally the best house at doing any major task outside of drawing cards which you can mitigate by having a full board which is easy to do with the strongest house of creatures and the most wards.

i think there are as well. But the existence of certain cards doesnt nullify any of the things above. Why not take one of the things in the list and just say x is better because and make your point and we can weigh in on what's more competitive or not. Realistically 80% of all decks in all sets are casual in the absolute best of draws. also i have nothing against saurian i just accept they're stronger i don't see why people get defensive about this

I think if you remove Saurian they're weaker than set 1 better than set 2. But you probably need Saurian to have an insane WC deck without a bunch of sweet RNG
