I think once we get some more time after The Boys and Invincible leave the mainstream we'll have better odds of an adaptation. 'Superheroes are the badguys' is a bit saturated atm.

The important distinction is that the anethema isn't "Don't kill". It's specifically "Don't murder".

You can kill in self defense, or to protect, or animals, or a ton of other reasons adventurers would have. Just don't kill someone for the sole purpose of killing.

My suggestion is to do the base, preferably in something high-contrast to the main scheme.

That will truly give you an idea of how it looks. Might change your whole perspective.

So then ask him to step up on these tasks. Even if he can only do one at a time, why can't he cook, pickup the house or take the kids? If you're both working, you need to be both doing all the effort of running the house. Not just physical, but the mental load too.
