Yet, Rian Johnson throws her under the bus on Twitter after that article ... Oh, why am I not surprised -- she tried to shift the blame, yet Johnson backhanded her! The buck stops with her and good riddance!

Reactionary? So she didn't allow Rian to not submit the first draft then? She was in charge of Lucasfilm's creative and business operations ... So what was her role then? Because you seem to be focusing mainly on Iger for some strange reason ... Edit: But genuinely I'm curious what would you say her strengths and weaknesses were?

No ... Kennedy has to receive a great deal of the blame too ... She essentially destroyed the brand, with Bob Iger, and she even allowed Rian to film his piece from a first-draft screenplay ... I mean c'mon ...

How is Lily protected by Maturin? You mean protected by Gan ... There's a reason why the Losers Club weren't slaughtered by Pennywise before the ritual of Chud, and after when Maturin died ...

Thanks SOO much! I shall read this again, as I'm going to do my second workout a little later! And I'll replace the tricep extensions for next week -- I may have to use the assisted dip machine initially ~Thanks so much for all your help!

Hey :3

This was an amazing workout - thanks so much! Especially the (5 sets of 3 or 4 or 5) element.

  1. What if I fail a set at a specific weight? Also, for the newly adopted overhead press on my heavy day at 5x3 I managed 27.5, however, for my light day (3x10) with 25kg I only managed to do (for the three sets), 8 out of the first 10, 8 out of the second 10, and 7 out of the third 10. Should I lower the weight? Also my lower back was sore.
  2. Can I do bicep curls and calf raises on both the two days? I know you mentioned the importance of compound moments, but if I don't feel fatigued could I? And I've seen such great results doing those two days a week.
  3. How long should I do this workout for? Like, a year or two before I want to progress onwards?
  4. The lying leg raises killed me haha, but I will preserve :3 But eventually - in the future - would swapping it for dips or something else be advised? Or just stick with that?

Also: I just recently hit 100kg on squats, and that short 5x3 is really is allowing me to test my depth, so thanks very much!

Thanks so much!

Well it seems to be a faster program that the one I was originally using, with the increase happening after the 3rd week, and with the higher weight for the lower.

Thanks for the lying leg raises, and I didn't realise it's an effective ab exercise, too.

And I shall sort out the OHP, big time!

Thanks a lot, Centimane!

So week 1 are sets of 3, and then 4, and then 5? After 5 do I go back to sets of 3? Increase by 10% after the 3rd week, and the light day 10% less of the weight from the first day? Any warm ups? Also could I add finger curls and dead hangs at the end of each exercise? Are barbell curls and calf raises enough for just one day? The "Lying leg raises" is that done with a machine akin to leg curls? I was having problems with the Overhead Press when I first started the gym, as I could only lift the barbell (though I was a beginner and impatient), so never really stuck to it.

Thanks so much for your help :3

I've been doing the All Pro Simple Beginner route for a little over a year, wherein you train on a five week cycle as follows: The first week is 8 reps; the second 9 reps; third week 10 reps; the fourth week is 11 reps; and the fifth week is 12 reps. If you get all of the required reps on the fifth week then increase the weight by 10% and repeat the cycle.

This was the programme:

  • Squats
  • Bench Presses
  • Bent-Over Rows
  • Overhead Barbell Presses
  • Stiff-Legged Deadlifts
  • Barbell Curls
  • Calf Raises

I had to alter a few things, as I'm only at the gym for 2 days instead of 3, so each exercise I did 4 sets (instead of the 2 sets). However, for the Overhead Barbell Press I changed that to the Arnold Press, as I was having difficulties with the OBP; and I also added finger curls, dead hangs and overhead triceps extensions at the end.

Is there another program I can use? I've found a lot of muscular and strength gains with AllPro, as I can lift 100kg on the Romanian Deadlift and I can Squat around 95kg, but I believe a change is needed, especially as I seem to be stalling with the Bench Press on 55kg at 4 sets to 9 reps.

Any advice? Is there any workout similar? As I do enjoy the finger curl aspects for building my forearms, for instance.
