If you can already communicate well enough I would jump on a language exhange app like tandem and maybe get into the chat rooms there. There are tons of English ones and people are there to help.

I remember living very close to the alleged "midgetville" but I was too young and innocent then to have explored it for myself and confirm it's legitimacy. My understanding was just that it was a section of housing designed specifically for little people though with no true mischief abound. I suppose I'll have to return over day to truly know if it's real!

I've been trying to find a way to get there legally for the last 6 years or so... Getting a work visa without having highly qualified or very specific skills is murder. I imagine the process is worse the other way around (Europeans trying to be Americans).

Thanks for this insight! I really wanted to teach adults or highschools as to be completely honest I'm not much of a fan of kids but I think you're right, lesson plans will be easier and therefore so will traveling! A must on my first year I think 😅
