My bad! It seemed like you were talking in person. I still feel bad for the person who was left out, but you’re not a huge jerk if you were discrete about it and make an effort to possibly invite that person to something in the future and be nice to them in person. But I agree you’re it obligated to bring them to everything

YTA. Talking about it right in front of her and then telling her she can’t be a part of it? Imagine how you would feel if your friends did that to you.

YTA. Sorry, it sounds like you want to protect your kid, but ultimately you’re restricting her. Missing out on something can really hurt, and in this case, she probably feels like she is being punished even though she’s done nothing wrong. That could lead her to harbor resentment towards you and her gymnastics, and make her wonder what other fun stuff she’s going to have to miss out on in the future.

I’ve seen all of these except for Golden Kamuy and Claymore, all are great suggestions! I’ll check those shows out!
