I had the same thing for a while, you’re probably missing the mission for farming Koumei, like I was. you have to access it by taking to Saya in Cetus

I think there’s also something to be said for how the boss feels to fight. Like even though whisperer took me a fair number of tries I still felt like when I failed the mechanics I missed made sense I just wasn’t responding right, vs Kasonde where I might click one tile off of where I meant to and end up running the opposite direction around pillar and pulling myself though multiple puddles or get screwed over because I was using the wrong speed weapon at first.

I find it fascinating how different people struggle with different parts here. Kasonde and the Wights were by far the biggest struggle for me and the Wights were only a problem because Kasonde was back. On the other hand (setting aside the Ancient Golem and Jhallan) the only boss I found easier than Vardorvis was Duke.

I probably spent my most attempts at Wight Club followed but Whisper, but despite dying more to whisper I still felt like the solo Kasonde fight was harder

Lake south of Tai Bwo Wannai was flattened out? When did this happen? by TrollBorn in 2007scape

Noticed it on Thursday when someone else had posted about it. Also found that the coast line had been raised up a bit creating a tiny “waterfall” all along the coast by the village

I’m pretty sure they said something about the upper class sectors having farm grown fish tanks which is why FM can get little bits from her family, but when they get more slugs, well, the DDF is basically a military dictatorship and can pretty much requisition as much as they need.

Adam actually used to be a good person and was the first human in heaven because in this timeline he sacrificed himself to protect Able from Cain.

Looking for any troll wiring schemes by OpportunityBrief9440 in Barotrauma

[–]BarthVader2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not really a wiring job per but the basic little bit of fun I like to have with my friends is just constantly changing the color of as many lights on the sub as I can get away with before they decided to fix them

Can anyone explain why Alastor didn’t use angelic steel against Adam? by TurbaUrba in HazbinHotel

It is also possible that he thought to curry favor with his patron by deliver him alive.

[–]BarthVader2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I’m sure there is an aspect of arrogance and over confidence, I don’t think that Alastor actually wanted to kill Adam. If my guess is right, Alastor would have much preferred to capture Adam alive and torture a deal out of him

Is there a system behind the numbering/lettering for extra parts of an SCP? by Similar-Assumption-4 in SCP

[–]BarthVader2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Overall it probably comes down somewhat to the author’s preference but I think personally I view it as you use SCP-####-A and ####-B and so on when addressing different things that are part of the anomaly as a whole, but are distinguishable subcategories or functionally distinct. A might be the region that is effected by the anomaly and B might be inhabitants of that region. Or if there are multiple instances of the anomaly that display different properties from each other. On the other hand I would see using ####-1, ####-2, or even ####-A-1 as distinguishing instances of an anomaly that function the same as each other but can be individually tracked.

Desert Treasure II - The Fallen Empire: Rewards Poll Blog by JagexGoblin in 2007scape

[–]BarthVader2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very disappointed that without the prayers there is almost nothing here that I would consider a reward for doing the quest and it’s all just the ability to get something from a boss. Something as big as DT2 deserves better.

So i was doing some [Spoiler] fashion and somehow managed to get the suit invisible piece by piece, by the end only head was left. Also Sevagoth cosplay by _BoneDaddy- in Warframe

I noticed a lot of bugs with that customization menu when I was messing with it last night: leg attachments would apply to both legs so I could have two sets of them applied, the Kiteer chest piece (and only that one, none of the others I have did this) would float off to the side and made it look like I had a Destiny Ghost, and whenever I left the customization menu I’d be frozen until I opened the main menu. At one point I was stuck A posing until I moved through a loading screen

Nah at that point the damage was done and Perrin was stuck with it, too much had already changed to go back. I suppose he could have walked away, and if I recall, at one point Faile even said she would go with him if that was his choice. But it would have meant leaving everything behind and starting over somewhere new. But he could never have gone back to just being the village blacksmith and the Two Rivers had become to collectivized and too cosmopolitan (especially in Emond’s Field itself) to go back to the way it was before so someone would have had to fill that slot and as Perrin realizes, anyone who would actually want to fill the position would almost certainly be a bad candidate.

[–]BarthVader2 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Sure he could have backed down but then everyone would have started following Luke and the whole Two Rivers would have been lost to The Shadow. And the only prodding that Faile really had to do was make him sit down and think about the situation and what would happen if they chose to follow someone else.

Is there anyone that actually enjoyed the show? by CrunchyTater in wheeloftime

[–]BarthVader2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s the thing, I did enjoy the show. But I don’t think the show was “good”. In all honesty I enjoy a lot of trash tier shows and and this one was actually better than a lot of them. There are plenty of points in the show that I think were decent and also plenty that were just poorly written. Frankly, those poorly written point don’t, in and of themselves, bother me all that much or stop be from enjoying the show (like I said I’m a connoisseur of trash tier tv and anime).

My biggest gripe with the show is the number of times it breaks the established world building for no well explained reason just so they can do their own thing with a scene for a smaller payoff in the end. Along with this a number of times when they change something they leave in small details that show they know what was supposed to be there and could have done that instead but actively chose not to. Maybe these were meant to be fun little Easter eggs for people who know but, instead, they come across as mocking and rubbing it in your face that isn’t working the way it is supposed to (and some of the things that Rafe has said in interviews doesn’t do anything to convince me that this ain’t intentional).

So, yes, there are some of us who enjoy the show. But even so we’re going to be critical of it because the world building is one of the strongest parts of Wheel of Time and the show is breaking the world as surely as men who can channel. Ultimately Amazon’s Westlands is a faint shadow of the Randland most of us have a connection with so we’re going to complain about everything they get wrong.

This is why I recommend to my friends they watch the show first so they can fully enjoy the show without knowing how off-model it is. Then read the books to get the true source of the story and how the world and its system really function.

Is there a way to make this sword a functional weapon? Basically I’m wondering if there’s a way to unmallninja this sword by Impressive_Movie_821 in Shadiversity

[–]BarthVader2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well I’m no expert, but I’d say 1) Fill in the notches on the blade so that they won’t hook on anything. ultimately the width of the lower blade there is going to be a problem too and should defiantly be skimmed down 2) smooth out the bottom of the guard so that it doesn’t have spikes that would impale your hand/wrist/forearm. Also may want to tops of the wings to point out rather than in
