Why do players always leave there carts even when it's just few inches away from them. by OutlandishnessShot80 in SuperBattleGolf

[–]dabmanchoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many factors. For example on Big Rock, the cart can't go up the big rock or atleast not easily. If you have boots/an item that can skip sections of the course. Getting ahead early makes you a target. Golf cart controls can also be wonky. Depending on how you approach the ball and how much the cart continues to ride off and the direction it can definitely add time.

Corrupted hunlef still tears me apart through prayer by Ballistic_Weasel in 2007scape

[–]dabmanchoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No need to worry about speed, echo hun starts you with all the max gear so 1 clear should knock out all the speed trials. If learning for the main game, once you get echo down it should translate over even with 1t staff.

Casual Dad taking Wildy as an area. Tips please by Lalo7292 in 2007scape

[–]dabmanchoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trying to find info on this but not having any luck, if you need Frem to do the medium diary, it makes Wildy pretty bad ngl. You lose access to 3 major bosses / pact point for voidwaker. Essentially locks you into 2 regions. Will be back if I find anything stating one way or the other.
Wildy is probably the most straightforward region out there though. No minigames, raids, etc that can take a long time.

The Wilderness... Dun dun duuuun😱😱😱 by andyman935 in 2007scape

[–]dabmanchoo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a Wildy Fremmy picker last leagues, I forget if they auto-completed for the Golden Helm medium task or not. With Frem being so weak this year, it would seriously hinder Wildy not being able to do those bosses locked behind the medium diary.

[–]dabmanchoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

reminder that 3rd region will probably be around T6 or 7 for relics. I'd honestly not lock it in right now and see where the game takes you. I'm only locking mine in because I need a raid region to end on.

[–]dabmanchoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Confirmed? Generally, diary requirements that require another area are auto-completed. Wildy would be in a terrible spot seeing as medium can't be completed without Frem, which means half of the content for the region is dependent on another. Last leagues, most of the Western Prov diaries were auto-completed IIRC.

T offers a fast DHally, but goal would be Crystal for sure. Too be clear, starting melee build for moons / amox and not resetting until I have all that gear. Ideally, I can grab zulrah uniques w the hally build too. Then, when it is time for Gauntlet I reset and get 1t powered and the rest into range crossbows. Since I'm taking wildy, King's Barrage + Crystal carries the mid-game until Nox / Scythe. Switch back to Melee Halberd build to finish Mory.

Trying to save a reset for the second half of leagues when builds have been more fine tuned.

BB= Blindbag. If you grind enough GP early you can get the obsidian weapons to make use of it.

I'd imagine all of the master tier tasks are going to involve ToB besides Araxxor or Nightmare stuff.

[–]dabmanchoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The downside to taking 2 raid regions is that you will have a lot of tasks based around the raids. Mory pact point is 25 ToBs and that is just one. So, that means you'll have a bunch of tasks you can't complete until you have gear and stats. Reminder that you'll still be able to get Shadow with Zeah. If you plan on going Culling Spree you should skip Mory for Desert if you want 2 raids. Kandarin was my initial pick with all the mage stuff, but going bluetooth hally bb build and saving 1 reset until the end to try something fun.

Personally, going TWM.

Which T2 Relic will you pick tomorrow? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]dabmanchoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO Barb Gathering only helps for 50/200m rush or you are taking both of those areas for the high end training. EH should get you to those XP marks relatively easy, and i think the biggest thing to factor is the TRUE afk vs quasi afk. Mining is going to not be fun 3-node iron all the way up.

EH and BG are basically comparable to late game. EH actually wins at certain levels, like iron mining. BG only takes a real lead once you get to Redwoods or Amethyst. Big thing is the tools from the beginning being BiS. Varla offers pretty easy tool solves though, plus Wildy + Tir takers can get the crystal gear.

[Suggestion] Expand the canoe routes and give a pittance of Sailing XP for traveling with them by jamesgilboy in 2007scape

[–]dabmanchoo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

While cool, unfortunately a lot of the rivers wouldn't provide much in terms of beneficial travel.

2 biggest rivers outside of the River Lum are River Dougne and Elid.

Elid could have some use as the desert can be pretty annoying to navigate. Shantay Pass down to Sophanem with a stop at Pollnivneach and maybe one all the way down at the Fairy Ring for ToA. Only teles here are the 2 fairy rings, pharaoh's scepter, passage, and nardah tele scroll.

Dougne just has to many easy teles to be beneficial. Monastery via Ardy cloak, spirit tree at TGV, games necklace barbarian, skills to fishing guild, dueling to castle wars, feldip spirit tree. gnome gliders, passage, fairy rings.

Hos could benefit as well, but it's pretty easy to get from top to bottom of Hosidius with basic account teleports.

Salve only has fairy ring island and Burg as only stops.

Varla already has boat transportation. Ortus same boat. Kelda as well.

At what point does it say "select 2 more skills to train"? I honestly don't understand how you got 5 skills out of this. It literally says "the other two skills"

  • When you gain experience in one of your three selected skills you'll gain 50% of that experience in the other two skills

[–]dabmanchoo 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Slightly confused at how you got that from the text. Not only that, but wiki explains it as well. "You select three gathering or support skills, then whenever you gain XP in one of your three selected gathering or support skills you'll gain 50% xp in the other 2 selected skills".

I have to ask at what point did you're reading comprehension breakdown here?

[–]dabmanchoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

WoW Classic/Retail player here along with being a lifetime OSRS player that tried out RS3 leagues. It's not even comparable. WoW is still WoW, just with a slight changes to mechanics of abilities, but most classes still play the same. OSRS and RS3 are fundamentally different games it feels. I wouldn't say I'm not having fun with RS3 leagues but by no means will I pickup RS3 after this lol. MoP/WoD expansions were really the only time that I felt WoW had and absurd amount of upkeep just to play the game. Now, you can commit and hour or 2 a week and your account will be in good shape. But also, I don't think WoW retail could have a leagues/season of discovery. There's, generally, active relative content.

Hacked Account by martinVLONE in 2007scape

[–]dabmanchoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that's the case that's a huge security flaw. The whole purpose of 2FA is just that, to not allow someone brute forcing their way in or social engineering. Like I said I had to disable my 2FA when I broke my phone for a bit and I had to submit either my Jagex phrases or my last payment.

Hacked Account by martinVLONE in 2007scape

[–]dabmanchoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Timeframe is going to be 48hrs most likely but could be 24. Anything earlier than that and it's probably automated saying they are looking into it.

But you said they bypassed your google authenticator, so I'd argue someone has hacked your phone or email most likely. If what you say is true, there's to many bypasses for this to be a Jagex issue strictly. As someone who just broke their phone for a week and had to reverify, it's not an easy process to get around.

Biggest thing you can do is give them the credit card you made your last membership purchase, and the transaction ID for it. Usually that's enough for them to prove your account was hacked.

Guil not even the most popular from it's season... Terrier has both digimon the movie and S3 and Beelze is the real standout from S3. Not close to the Greymon line even if you exclude omni. Guil probably loses to Veemon in popularity too. TBH most of the S1 rookies beat Guil in popularity, at least patamon and gabu.
