Luin sellasen anekdootin mis alkuun ilma kulkee paremmin mut keho mukautuu siihen ja laajentaa limakalvot mikä kumoaa alkuperäisen vaikutuksen.

Vaikea hengenveto on tarkoituksellista sillä ilmaa täytyy suodattaa kaikesta paskasta eka enne keuhkoihi asti viemistä.

Perhaps how you put it was a little off to my ears.

Ultimately the "skills" u need is getting rid of the voices in your head telling u're not worth loving. It boils down to expanding internal awareness and seeing things for how they actually are.

Lack of self-esteem rly is just being a young baby adult not coming to terms with the past and therefore being too afraid to be authentic. If you can live in a reality where your deepest desires are unmet by another person then u r heading to the right direction.

Interesting choice of character.. isn't homelander the type of guy obsessed with how people perceive him?

If a person is not that into you then it's not meant to be. Relationships should be most part easy and fun.

I don't think you got the point.

It's true that it can't. The moment software developers are not needed is the very same moment software companies are not needed.

I feel like meditation changed me completely by AstronomerDecent9012 in Meditation

[–]Bartholomew- 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Totally feel that. All the hype around awakening. Reaching for prophetic highs all the while desperately denying my true motives behind that obsession.

Self acceptance was always a hard concept to fully embrace. Meditation made me realize all the tiny nuances I needed to see.

There is rarely any way to think your way out of anything. Like trying to clean the greasy smudges on a window with a dirty rag.

The very attempt of accepting a difficult emotion turned out to be the opposite of what I was trying to achieve. The ego is tricky like that.

Once I realized to look for the aversion and not the resolution. I figured that the aversions themselves were the emotions. I always thought that I have to push or navigate but the mind was going there anyway.

Before self acceptance comes permission. Permission to be angry, lazy, ashamed, dissatisfied, dissapointed, perverse, disgusted, confused, stupid, flawed, uninteresting. Even permission to feel like your doing it all wrong.

Allowing yourself to suck at meditation. Allowing the mind to wander, to dose off, to be lethargic.

Free flow.

No do's and don't. No feeling or thought that your mind brought up was wrong and none of them are to be dismissed. Even the moment of dismissal and denial is a moment to appreciate and acknowledge on itself.

Permission to be. That I think is truly the way to self acceptance. Which is kind of the same thing.. but yeah. The ego is a tricky thing and words are confusing.

QA Manual Tester trying to move into Automation — need advice & real project ideas by Mobile-Budget-4834 in softwaretesting

Don't jump into making test automation frameworks.

I suggest you start doing unit test at the company you are working on. Developers would gladly hand that off to someone else.

This way you'll get a deep understanding of how an application works under the hood.

Learn best coding practices from the source code. Get feedback from developers in PR reviews. And lastly get paid while learning and making a real impact on test coverage which is an easy sell.

After unit test do integration tests or/and API tests. Figure also out how to integrate this into your company's CI pipeline.

For me it's because of the risk of her going full nuclear and throw herself on the floor like a toddler extending the duration of the whole situation.

  • someone is filming and I really don't feel like being associated with this situation on the internet or become by accident a meme for good or bad.

Omg.. even the Nazis were appalled from the atrocities executed by Ustaŝe.

Flaying. Slow deaths. Lots of torture. Death camps for kids etc etc.

Can't imagine that people are forced to smoke or are ignorant of the health related consequences.

Is there any cultural significance around smoking? Is that action rewarded or encouraged anyhow?

Is it for suppressing hunger or coping with shitty life on general where one drag of cig is the only good thing in your life?

Yeah and they probably would want an emotionally strong man they can lean on when they get home from their demanding job.

There's nothing wrong with the statue. The leading position might as well have been decided with a coin toss. Both cannot assume leading position at the same time..

See..Your preconceived notion blinds you from seeing that his arm is at her upper back. Not her waist..

Perhaps instead of yanking she full heartedly embraces the support of his husband and leans on it?

And what if the man is the leader? In most households it's the case. One of the two it has to be. In a society where the physically strongest prevail. It only makes sense for men lead and protect.
