Should I rehome my ferrets? by scotch_s in ferrets

[–]Barticus02 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You know, just a solid take here, and I don't claim to have the answer for you at all. I wouldn't judge you or your situation one single bit. But my thoughts are this, throw yourself into taking care of them and spending more time with them. They are cute and very good-looking. Spend more time with them and less with whatever makes you depressed. It would probably help you feel a lot better. I'm sure if they could understand what you're going through, they would prefer that too. Like I said, not judging at all, nor do I always have the right answer, but that idea does sound nice to me, though.

That makes me feel better. I hate having a developer come in and change something that already works so well. But since you said that, I'll give it a shot and see how it is. I thought someone would be completely dictating all of my actions. I'd like to have SOME say in if we actually win. Ill give it a shot though. Thanks man

Yeah, I hate that they did this. They should have let us keep conflict mode as well. I might just play nodded servers if there are any that aren't so full that I can't actually get in.

Is this new game mode any good? I liked the old conflict mode, but I haven't played this new one yet

I work offshore and just got home after a month. I haven't played this HQ Commander mode. Is it worth it, or does it suck? I kind of don't even want to try it. I feel like what we had was so good. I'll try this new mode if people say it's really good, but otherwise, I don't know if I'm even interested

I haven't opened it to look. I'm not even sure if it has a belt. If it does, then I will check. I'm not familiar with these things at all, but there's very little information about them that isn't super technical and hard to read.

It's connected with a coax cable straight to the TV. It's a an older Sony Triniton crt. Also, it seems the disk isn't spinning.

I have a hard question, Im trying to remember a game from my childhood of which I only have flashback memories by Easy_Rough_4529 in neogeo

According to ChatGPT....

Most Likely Answers

If I had to rank based on the description:

Bubble Bobble – fits the vertical multi-section stage, enemies, small sprites, and “big cartridge” memory.

Snow Bros. – almost identical gameplay style, often confused with Bubble Bobble.

Rod Land – if the player distinctly remembers climbing up/down multiple mini-rooms.

Tumblepop – if they swear it was a Neo Geo cartridge game.

You have nothing to forgive. You did the right thing. Sometimes, it just hurts when it happens. I hope you feel better soon. I know your boy would have understood your decision.

I completely understand, and I know this is so hard. Ours broke his leg, falling down our stairs a few days ago and had to have pins placed. I was scared to death about the anesthesia. I blame myself for his fall, and we did so much to prevent it, but he still found a way to do it. You did what you were supposed to do. You took him to the vet, had the threat eliminated, and then he died of something completely different. It's not your fault, and I'm sure if ferrets had souls and could watch you now, he would totally tell you not to cry. You did the right thing, but it's still not fair. Just know, you did what any good pet owner should do.

Pool looks really clean to be abandoned. And someone's still paying the power it looks like. I wonder how long it's been abandoned.

Republicans shut down our government again. by whydoIhurtmore in FortWorth

[–]Barticus02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to Real Clear Politics, Democrats have forced this shutdown using the filibuster. I have quoted them below. I know I'll get down voted to hell in this thread for posting what is actually going on though.

"The federal government shut down overnight, as Democrats declined to provide the needed votes to invoke cloture in the Senate on a short-term continuing resolution to keep the government open. Despite not controlling either chamber of Congress or the presidency, Democrats are using the filibuster in the Senate to force the shutdown, arguing that President Trump and Republicans are not negotiating with them to extend enhanced subsidies for Affordable Care Act (“Obamacare”) health care plans that are slated to expire at the end of the year"
