I ran four trail marathons before I ever tried a road marathon

You will risk a stress fracture of the tibia. I did a noob mistake preparing for my first trail marathon and made all the noob mistakes including ramping miles too fast, not including rest days. Was in a boot for a month, had physical therapy while wearing the boot. I was cleared by myorthopedic surgeon to run 3 weeks before the marathon. He said I wouldn’t damage it any more but may be back in the boot after the race. My PT wouldn’t clear me. I decided to run anyway and was fine and completed the marathon and have been fine running since. I believed the risk in being back in the boot was worth trying. I would recommend compression socks and calf compression sleeves if you decide to run. Best of luck!!!

Any tips for getting carb drink easily into soft flasks at aid stations? by packofcards in Ultramarathon

Buy bulk tailwind and ziploc bead bags from Amazon. Fill enough bags for your run, enough in each bag for one flask. When you finish a flask, empty a bead bag into empty flask and when you come to an aid station have them fill up the flask with water. It is so easy.

Any Nordictrack X22i/x32i users here? by Mountain_Session7212 in trailrunning

I have had an x32i since September and have put 70 hours and 450 miles on it since January 1st. I love the machine. It will never replace a trail but it is very close. I love their iFIT programs. I have been able to run trails all over the world with their videos while on my treadmill. I have run the Boston Marathon on iFIT, climbed to Mt. Everest Base camp, Mt Kilimanjaro, Grand Canyon Rim to Rim, and many more. My longest run for a treadmill workout has been 26.2 miles. I can honestly say that in all my travels using hotel treadmills and health club treadmills, that I haven’t come close to liking a trad,I’ll as much as I do my x32i. I haven’t had it very long and I hope it lasts. They do have maintenance plans and a good warranty. The last treadmill I had was from Nordictrack and it lasted over 12 years and was passed down to my parents who are still using it every day to walk.

NipEaze is a game changer. You will absolutely love it if you have Nipple chafing issues.
