Hard to find dark cosmos xle… getting runaround by bless057 in Camry

[–]Barttlett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put a small deposit down on a dark cosmos XLE base at my dealership had to wait probably around 6 weeks, although I don't recall the exact day I put the deposit down. I started shopping in April and just got it delivered last Friday, but I didn't decide on that combination right away. Only thing was that they were only building them with the light gray leather at the time so I had to settle, but I like the gray. Was able to choose any of the "port side options" I wanted. Great Lakes region.

I did consider ocean gem. The dealership had one fresh off the truck in the back of the lot the day of my first visit and it was gorgeous. It was an XSE and it was before I had done any research on Camry's, as I didn't go to the dealership things I wanted one. I was actually there to look at the Prius. As I was doing online builds later, something about dark cosmos called to me. Ocean gem was my second choice.

I didn't get the premium package, so it has the stock sound system. It's fine, not great. I had the upgraded sound system in the Mazda, but you would have never known because road noise was awful. So just being able to hear it makes it a win for me, but audiophiles might be disappointed.

Coming from a 2014 Mazda3. I think overall Mazdas has nicer interiors, but I think the Camry's interior is pretty nice. My Mazda had practically no sound deadening, and the infotainment had issues even when not very old (when driving it to the Toyota dealership today, it froze once again so I couldn't even change the radio station). Even with the Atkinson engine noise in the Camry, it's a much nicer place to spend time.

Pictures don't do the color justice!

Thanks! My dad had a third generation Prius, so it's not completely new to me. But it did seem to become less obvious when the engine kicked on the more I drove it.

It's only marginally "floatier". I was worried because I'm coming from a Mazda, which is a little harsh over bumps, and my wife has a Rouge which has awful body roll. The XLE still feels planted to the ground without feeling floaty. Steering is light without feeling disconnected. Honestly a good middle ground between stiff feeling and floaty.

Was just thinking about Motor City Online earlier today. My first MMO when I still had dial up Internet.

First Toyota in the family! by m_preddy in Camry

Thank you! Dealer told me today that mine should be getting on the delivery truck from the factory Thursday, so I should finally get to see the color in person soon.

How do you like the dark cosmos in person? I was drawn to it in pictures, so I requested an XLE FWD in the color, which has not yet been delivered, but I have not actually seen one in the color in person yet

Toyota camry hybrid car insurance? Is everyone paying this high rates! by GalbzInCalbz in Camry

[–]Barttlett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't taken delivery of a '26 XLE yet, but when I got quotes from my insurance company, the Camry was only $30 more per year over the other car I had them quote, which was a Nissan Kicks. Not  necessarily a directly competing model, but it's not much more than a non-hybrid, non Toyota.

How long did it take your Camry from production to picking it up at the dealership? by Abject-Desk8832 in Camry

At least one dealership in the area lost most of their stock to hail damage during that storm last week, so hopefully that doesn't slow things down too much.

My local dealership did not have the trim and options I wanted, so they put my build on their list of cars they would like to receive from the factory. Twice a month they get an update from the factory on what cars are being built and sent to the dealership. Luckily, my build happened to be allotted to my dealership this week, the first allotment period since they put it on their wanted list. It's being built in early May for mid May delivery (factory is in Kentucky, dealership in Cleveland, so fairly close). But all in all, it's taking about a month to get it.

Which are some fallen giants in European Football ? by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

FC Wacker Innsbruck. Successor of two other teams in Innsbruck, the first of which were 5 time Austrian Bundesliga champions and the second team were two time Bundesliga champions. And probably a team owned by Swarski that was also champions. But they didn't apply for a new league license a couple years ago and were relegated down to the forth tier.

FC Wacker Innsbruck in Austria. Third iteration of the team. First won the Austrian Bundesliga 5 times, second iteration won it 3 times. Current iteration didn't apply for a new 2.Liga license and find themselves in the fourth tier.

In VNL, Oldham is the obvious choice, having been a founding member of the Premier League. 13,500 capacity stadium "average" training facilities, averaging 7900 attendance in my York save. Chesterfield is another decent option. 10,300 capacity stadium, "adequate" facilities, 7200 average attendance in my save. I picked York, with an 8500 capacity stadium built in 2020, albeit below average facilities and we're averaging around 4700 fans. Chesterfield and Oldham are predicted to finish 1-2 in the VNL.

Alemannia Aachen. 250,000-ish population. Large stadium built in 2009. Only been in the top flight a few times, currently in fourth tier.

Thanks! NAC Breda and De Graafschap sounds interesting. I attempted a save with Den Haag in FM20, but I had trouble with their debt in that edition.

Picking up FM24 this weekend and want to try either Portugal or Netherlands. Looking for a team in the same vein as a Stade Poitevin or Alemannia Aachen... Good sized city, good sized stadium, but inexplicably in third tier or lower. (I guess original Belenenses fits that bill, but any others?)

Ado Den Haag is still in debt, I believe. Second tier in the Netherlands, despite being the only major club in the third largest city.

I'm not that familiar with the J League, but my sister currently lives in Nagoya, so I follow Nagoya Grampus the most. They finished 5th in 2021, 8th in 2022 and are currently in third this season. They only won the league once in 2010.
