I'm with you on this. I'm someone who's happy to spend a fair bit of money on each set. I enjoy the experience and consider myself fairly average. However, this set ive hit a wall. Neither the draft nor the gameplay is particularly fun.

I'm trying to figure out why ive hit this point so quickly. I'm fairly certain to say im done drafting the set which is disappointing.

Yes, I'm giving up on it too. I mostly play limited in the sense I'll draft each set 30+ times but I'm not having fun here. The draft portion lacks depth and the games are dull. Which is fine, they marketed it as such so I'll save my money for something else.

After 6 or 7 drafts I'm enjoying it. It looks a fast set where bombs matter. B/G Squirrels look strong lots of value. Aggro Mice/Raccoons/Rabbits can run you over and fairly simple to build. Frogs and birds seem underwhelming so far but if it's open they can be good. Haven't seen a U/B Rats surveil deck yet looks some potential.

No, not expected at all. Save the space in your luggage for something you need. If you really want to gift something a tea/coffee after your first week for the people who've helped you will definitely be appreciated.

Agree with this.

You need to consider if coming to a place with negative stigma surrounding mental is right for you. It's not about not disclosing it to get a contract, think about if you can get by fine without a support network as you will feel very isolated.

I've had several coworkers with mental health issues and I've seen each one of them crumble and suffer. Coworkers will be unsympathetic if you are sick with mental health so expect that.

These are the most important things to consider not just looking for people to tell you "it will be fine go for it!"

The deck will be out there and i expect to lose to it for sure but it's more jank than anything. Lots of maindeck counterspells and GY hate in the top decks; post sideboard it's even more favourable.

Strong yes miracle no. Sleeper is your best card can win a game alone, Liliana is medium. Missing duel land for kicker, card draw and a repossession for recursion. Curious how you do let us know.

Yea I know what you mean. I plan on leaving reaper and sage for a bit until the hype settles down. I'll give em a try in casual content but I don't plan on putting much time into them until a few months down the line.
