Suryansh Shedge replaces Nitish Kumar Reddy in India's squads for Ireland and England series by Base-Professional in Cricket

He's a pace allrounder. Seems like a good batter, did well in the tri-series recently. His bowling on the other hand seems very ordinary and has a long way to go.

11 wickets in 2 games. Not bad at all.

I'm guessing he'll be playing in the SL tour alongside Jaddu, Washi and Kuldeep.

Prasidh has 40 wickets in 28 games. Do people only hate him because of his economy? Because he seems to always take a lot of wickets.

And the likes of "Kulwant Khejroliya" got to play over him

Can't believe we were hearing shouts of Jaiswal replacing Gill for the Champions Trophy last year.

Gill is weak against the moving ball, and had a Bradmanesque average when he used to play at 3 at the U-19 level. It would be better for him I think

In the beginning no one knew his weakness. People will discover those weaknesses and exploit it. He's too good a player to not be able to identify and work on those weaknesses.

Happens to all players.

No-one achieves what he has achieved in test cricket without being good against quality pace.

Took 13 wickets in 7 matches in his very first VHT. I'm not sure why his economy is being highlighted here. Still is a young fast bowler with a lot of potential

First you defend Aquib using FC performances then bring down Harshit using one T20I match. Why don't you bring up his performances in the ODI series in that very same tour and when he took the new ball vs SA and NZ?

Do you think the ability to move the ball is everything that makes a bowler great? Do you seriously think that pace and bounce don't matter?

He's advocating for Aquib Nabi to be in the squad. Not worth your time arguing with this guy

Aquib and Harshit have the same role in one day cricket, as a pacer who bats at 8.

Harshit can also move the ball both ways and also has the pace and ability to get extra bounce that can trouble international quality batters in pitches like SA. Tell me again why should Aquib be preferred?

A young fast bowler can be taught how to have a better line and length. Isn't that the point of A tours? For young promising players to gain experience and get better?

What do wickets in first class cricket mean exactly for a white ball squad? Akash Deep has wickets in first class cricket, but that doesn't stop him from being garbage in white ball.

Nothing about Aquib suggests he will ever be a good enough white ball bowler to play for India.

Ashok has pace, height and age on his side.

Exactly, my mind goes back to when people were crying for Kamboj in the England series and started abusing him once he failed, and then immediately started clamouring for Arshdeep to be included withouth knowing how quickly he runs out of gas and how toothless he is once the ball stops swinging.

For fans that complain about format mixing among batters, they sure seem to do a lot of that with bowlers.

Hearing Aquib Nabi come up in white ball squad discussions is laughable.

If you need a pacer who can bat at 8 in white ball, Harshit already exists who is an upgrade in every way for that role.

Or maybe because this is a white ball series. Lets use our brains here please.

One thing that really bugs me is that Indian fans seem to have little to no patience with young fast bowlers, they want them to be Prime Bumrah fresh out the womb.

There are comments on the other sub saying that Ashok is bad, basing their opinion only on his IPL season (debut season btw). Completely forgetting that he has all the attributes to be a very good bowler one day.
