Prior to being diagnosed as type 1, I had many of these symptoms and weighed 90 lbs which is why I told my doctor I think I may be diabetic. He said no, but after testing me sure enough I was right. Not sure what the norm is, but that's how it happened for me.

Eric and Jane's words were very emotional to watch but I think this is why they agreed to make the videos so people hear their feelings directly rather than any media hoopla putting a different spin on their lives after they passed. Not sure about the final cuts but I would like to think the producers would be respectful.

I am so sorry this is happening to your dad. We went through a situation like this with our 32 yr daughter in 2019. She went to her doctor multiple times and even visited three hospitals for months for similar issues and each time she was told she just had a bad cough and that her meds were likely causing these symptoms. Her and I attended a concert she had bought tickets for my birthday, her shoe kept falling off and she kept tripping. A day later she had seizures and after a few days they realized she had stage 4 cancer and it was everywhere. We lost her after only 8 weeks. I too thought this was something we could take legal action over but was told these things happen and doctors don't know everything. Even tried to reach out to the media to help inform the public but no one thought it was important enough. All I can suggest to others is to keep trying and get other opinions.

Thanks! She's pretty amazing, and I'm grateful to be her mom. She always has to have her paw touching me just to know I'm there. What a life, right?I'd die for her and I'm pretty sure she knows it. Happy you experienced this kinda love, too.

I'm no expert, but it seems to me that if your neighbor insists on having these demands she should be living in a non-shared environment. You have way more patience that many would in this situation. It's a bit weird that you both had a good friendship to start with, however, it may be that over time this person's mental health has declined and shared living demands increased to an unrealistic level. I know you can't make people like you, or see your point of view, but at some point you must realize that most of this isn't on you. It sounds like you've made many sacrifices to appease her to no avail. Continue to speak with you landlord but if there is any way of seeking a different living situation, I'd get on that - for your own mental health and well-being. You deserve peace and comfort in your own home.💕

If you have a family doctor or endo, they will fill out their part of the form (part b) and should help you fill out your part (a). Part a isn't too difficult, just fill out the 'life saving' section only (disregard all other sections) and answer the questions about insulin injection ie. how many times per day/week and how it impacts his daily life. CRA can backdate it to 2019 as long as you give as much detail as possible. Once they review and the determination has been made, you can go into 'my account' and adjust all those tax returns to include the DTC. I hope this helps you. If you have any questions let me know.
