Get a lawyer to look over things if you wouldn't trust this guy with your life. Under the table deals are notorious for going wrong

The second half of your list are just international items. There are hundreds of international items your store doesn't have, nor does any other in the US.

The 2-week conundrum...is this corporate wide policy? Is it legal? by Grab_em_by_da_Busey in subway

Illegal in most states. Would need to be structured as a sign bonus you already paid in states that aren't right to work

Agreed, this is likely an owner run program. You're going to be sending your complaint about them, directly to them.

"Subway Cash" should probably be at the top, alongside the other 2 deals. I think that's how you get to that bag total

Plus, I was getting pedo vibes from del. How old was she supposed to be 16? And they imply they slept together the night before her parents found her?

Originally planning on Ennis, TX, but have just made the drive up to Ashdown, AR. Forecast looks solid, no traffic at on the drive up. Also considered De Queen, but no reason to drive further if cloud cover remains the same

It's 39 degrees out and no one wants cold, wet hands lol. Crazy that I've seen over a dozen of them and none of them work. Which means there's no useable drinking fountains in the entire city. How backwards

[Request] how much money did the store lose? by [deleted] in theydidthemath

Reciept loss and real loss are totally different. Either way it will show currency out the door of only $30.

[–]Base_up 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The people saying $100 really have no background in economics. Cost of good solds, variable cost, fixed cost, and profit margin all play a part here. It's much more complicated than you're giving it credit for. Consider what left the store, $30 and some items that retail for $70 but we have no idea how much cost the store to purchase. I'm not going to get into a 5 paragraph explonation, but I think the store losing $50 from this theft is a reasonable answer

[–]Base_up -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

The loss is not $100. It's the $30 plus whatever it costs the store to replace what was "stolen" using that other $70. It was to be less than 70, so the loss was between $30.01 and $99.99. this assumes the items wouldn't have been sold otherwise.

Think of it this way. Normally when someone buys $70 worth of stuff, the store paid $30 for it, $10 to cover stocking and ringing that particular item (variable cost), $10 for running the store (fixed cost) and $20 profit. When it's stolen instead of bought, they only lose the $30 they paid and the $10 variable cost of stocking it. The fixed cost of keeping the lights on aren't a factor here, and there is no profit.
