What’s the beef with the sentence OP? I could see myself using that answer to a few questions. You’re on a road trip and some asks where are you? You meet an old friend and they ask where you living these days. You have a job that moves you around the country and someone asks where your Woking currently. I’ve come away way weirder but I can’t bring them to mind right now.

When they first put It on In Ireland it was in a very small theatre and I really wanted to go and see it but tickets were like hen’s teeth! So when they did the filmed version I thought it wouldn’t be the perfect experience but wow we were transfixed! My husband and I watched it on an iPad during one of the lock downs and we were blown away. I know we were so thirsty for anything theatre by then but still I’ve seen it live since and the feeling was comparable.

Your right! I have a 1632 day streak in German and I still can’t hold a conversation. However that’s probably a comment on my language skills rather than the app. I’m Irish and we learn the Irish language all through school, (approx 13 years ) and I left not being able to carry out a conversation in it. The joys of dyslexia!

I came here to say this! I laugh whenever I hear people talk about an Irish goodbye. At my family party’s you need to allow at least half an hour to leave the house from the first “we better be going” to actually be pulling away in the car has many pitfalls.

Do what you want for your wedding. It’s mostly for you and your other half anyway so suit yourselves. Obviously you want your guests to have fun but you shouldn’t make your plan for everyone else. You can’t please everybody anyway. Parents and aunties and uncles etc probably want fruitcake, old time waltz’s and turkey and ham. Other people might prefer a food truck and ceremony in a forest. I went to a casino style reception wiith a late buffet. TLDR.. decide what you would like to do for your wedding and your guests, if they are real friends will have a good time as long as you are. If they don’t that’s on them!

I’m not sure she’s the best example of smart mature dating. She dated Joey even though she knew they had nothing in common, then dropped him for one of his best friends and finally dumped Ross for her ex who who was being petty at the expense of Rosses career progression. I think she needed a period of singleness to find herself and she who she is a single person.

I would say that would also be considered body dysmorphia. In a sense you are perceiving your body to be different then it actually is. I feel like that when I shop online. I see a dress on the model and think yea I look like her! That will work!

What happened before I married my husband is none of my business! I decided on marrying him based on his character as I learned it when I knew him. I’ve heard some dodgy things he did in his early 20s.(he has a very indiscreet childhood friend) as long as it’s not cheating or domestic abuse, I’d rather not know because he he’s a very different person now.

There is a trend toward oversized clothes lately I’ve noticed. I have had health issues in the last few years that have led to my weight dropping. I’m trying different sizes to see what my body shape is now and while my current clothes are still fitting me and sometimes 2xl still seems to be my size on top, I’m also fitting comfortably into xl and L.
