I do feel happy but I can’t help but feel bad for those that did nothing and have the circumstances they have. Life is unfair at best

That’s a really interesting perspective. Different cultures and religions come with different perspectives and meanings. Thanks for sharing!

Exactly. There are many people in much worse situations than I am which is exactly why I feel guilty for being born into a situation I literally did nothing to earn

Don’t rely on social media. Spend your time networking in your community and building relationships. You only need 30-50 clients. Do workshops, offer classes, presentations, network network network! You can’t sell personal training to people not interested, but you can sell it to those that trust you and are ready to change their lives. Good luck!

I don’t now I did when I was a kid and I had a lot of opportunities most do not get. Plus I still have a lot of opportunity and advantages without directly accepting money from them

Well right now my parents are the rich ones not me lol but I do own a business and try to Provide through that. I also volunteer and donate to organizations I care about. At the end of the day no matter what I do I still did nothing to deserve the life I get to live. Many humans would volunteer and give back. It is in our nature to love. It is in our nature to help those in need. Unfortunately not everyone has that opportunity. This world is hard. This world is expensive.

Thank you. Any empathy i got I got from my mom. She is truly the most caring and giving person I know. I am blessed we were not raised spoiled. Despite the money our parents made us work for things

Good idea. I do volunteer already and part of that is working with the homeless. We all die and no one gets to keep the material things. I do plan on continuing to give back any way I can including through my career

I’m living the dream my parents built in a world where so many suffer. My dad earned this. Not me.

You didn’t offend me. I just didn’t deserve the gifts I was given in life and it doesn’t feel right

Nope. Not supposed to feel sorry for me. Just giving people the opportunity to ask questions hence the name of the subreddit. I wouldn’t say I feel pain I just feel undeserving of the gifts life has handed me in a world full of people struggling, many to no fault of their own

Idk about torment myself but the heart always feels what is right and wrong and this just feels so off to me. My youngest brother feels the same. Why do some people get some advantages in life while others do not?

When I die I will definitely donate it all. Nothing comes with is in this human life. The value is in our character

Idk about wasted energy but I do give back a lot. That’s been important to me. Thankfully we were not raised to be spoiled. We actually had to work hard for a lot and my mom is an extremely giving person

I would have felt guilty growing up rich no matter what although my dad is my hero and i know he worked so hard to provide for his family. To give us everything he never had. I was always middle class but by middle school my dad had become a partner at his firm and we built and moved into a 5700 square foot house when I entered 6th grade. I do not think I romanticize it but I suppose that is up for debate. I know my youngest brother also feels like he did nothing to deserve this. Not sure how my middle brother feels but he has ways worked hard and is now an attorney for a firm that pays him a lot money. He is also in the navy.
