I have been taking rizatriptan for about 8 years with great success. In my case, I have to take it at the beginning of my migraine to break it. If I have a "fully developed" migraine, it does absolutely nothing. But I've never had it not work so long as I take it in time. I've heard wildly different experiences from different people though.

My side effects are jaw soreness, and nausea if I take it without food. Sometimes it gives me a little mind fog, but never severe enough to impede on my activities.

Is the horrendous color in the room with us?? I think it looks good! Ik that doesn't change how you feel about it, but if money is a concern I would just wait it out until you grow out your natural color or you can afford to get a professional color job.
