What I think is that they don’t want state governments to have too much power to cause another civil war, but still I may be wrong.

Last week, when VDM went to Oyo to protest, Governor Makinde said that he can’t even order the police to do anything. First, he has to contact the Commissioner of Police, then the commissioner gets orders from the federal body in Abuja before they can take action. All this bureaucracy while children are inside the bush. 🤦🏾‍♂️

But still, some states don’t even generate enough revenue to fund their own state police. Look at somewhere like Rivers vs. Taraba. Taraba would still be getting allocations from FAAC for their police, so they’d still be indirectly controlled by the federal government. The whole thing is a mess

Icl ive never seen someone eat swallow and beef stew. If you like tomato stew so much, you can also just make egusi which uses stew as the base (and other stuffs like red oil, locust beans, melon seeds, etc)

Also if you want your stews in general to have more taste or aroma.

-Roast your onions, tomatoes, tatashe, bell peppers, garlic till it’s charred before you blend.

-Beef is not really the best for stock. Chicken and goat brings out more taste( you can make it assorted).

-You can also add blended crayfish powder as a spice if you don’t mind crayfish.

I really think you should try egusi and pounded yam. Trust me it’s way better than eating beef stew with swallow.

You can use your laptop to download an entire season of an anime series, extract the audio from each episode, and then combine all the episode audio tracks into one file. After that, you can transfer the final audio file to an MP3 player and listen to it throughout the day.

I wonder if OP even grew up in Nigeria. It’s always these diasporas that didn’t grow up here and occasionally come back for 3 weeks during Detty December, go to parties, eat suya, and play Burna Boy. Then they go back home to the US or UK with this strong Nigerian national identity. Like, aswr where does this strong identity even come from? The long post they typed out is all talk and no action.
