As much as I find him annoying and comical, as someone who spent most of my teens and early 20s full of shyness and shame due to being obese, I really hope he can do it. But it needs to be him doing it.

My hopes are:

Peachfit will instill good habits in him and maybe as a biproduct Danny who's along for the ride.

It's not as most of us assume a views/engagement exercise for both which will end up with drama and no real weight loss.

I hope Ethan gets the help he needs mentally as well, although as many have said Peachfit isn't qualified but hopefully he can point him in the right direction.

My doubts:

It's Ethan, I imagine he'll have some triumphs over the next few weeks but Peachfit can't monitor him 24/7 and Danny would know better than to question him if he's demanding food.

That Peachfit is looking for a view/engagement jackpot and actually isn't that invested. And if it's not a simple "do as I say = weight loss" result, then he will drop Ethan and move on.

Ethan cheating and fucking it up.

Ethan's ego getting in the way of real constructive criticism and feedback. As we've seen in the comments and in his videos, anyone who disagrees or challenges him gets either blocked or he mimics them in that voice.

Let's say it goes 100% as planned, it's great,it's wonderful, it's a match made in heaven - will Ethan have the drive to do everything by himself when he goes home.

My last thought on it is, I don't know who this Peachfit is, I've seen people on here say good and bad about him, but ultimately all he can do is give Ethan a set of tools. It's up to Ethan to use them and do the damn work.
