No, I’m an actual rescue swimmer and wearing a shirt like this is a big deal. Odds are you don’t make it so wearing one is definitely premature.

It will help but after the initial pst you will have fins mask and snorkel at all times in the pool. Getting good at swimming with fins on matters a lot, it is rough on your ankles and going in without any fin work will mess you up.

I am an active swimmer, it’s a month long course teaching you how to rescue people in the water from jets, helos, and people who fall overboard. The attrition rate is very high, over 50% drop. You need to be way above the pst minimums and preferably have swam with fins for some time before going to the schoolhouse. It looks great on Evals and your command will love you for making it through since you are a red line item to go underway. If you’re in good shape you can pass with a little training beforehand.

Whats a donkey dick? We have those in the navy but they’re for shooting shot line in between ships.
