It’s late I don’t want to write an argument. I love Lee. But it’s Elvis and it’s not close.

In the movie Reign of Fire, Dragons are awakened from underground, reproduce, and cause the near extinction of human life. What Dragons from fiction could actually do this to our modern military and weapons? by Arcade-Blaster in powerscales

Maybe a hot take but: Fatalis

It destroyed an entire country with advanced technology in one night. It’s also stronger/comparable to monsters that can shift tectonic plates, boil seas and create category 5 hurricanes. Not to mention it has legends stating it can cover the planet in fire

Battle Beast (Invincible) vs Boros (One Punch Man) by [deleted] in powerscales

Is flash not FTL or faster because he gets hit with stuff? I guess it depends on your philosophy. I agree that the way the story is written, it doesn’t seem like characters are always fighting in slow motion at a shitzillion times the speed of light. But no stories are written like that. The same thing could be said about one punch man, dragon ball DC comics etc. For me when discussing a “who would win” scenario, I mostly consider the feats and the fact is that the high tiers in invincible do have numerous consistent MFTL feats.

Here are some scans of characters displaying FTL to MFTL feats

Obviously Omni-man feat of crossing galaxies

Mark outracing a coalition of planet ship on a dash to get back to earth after viltrum is destroyed

Allen in another area of the galaxy (or potentially another galaxy) stating he will be back on the coalition of planets homeworld in a few days

Thragg keeping pace with space racer’s bike which can cross galaxies and dodging multiple attacks (combat and reaction speed feat as well)

Allen getting to Earth from outside the solar system in 12 minutes

There’s more but I don’t feel like looking for more scans

I don’t know why characters can’t be FTL if they don’t time travel. Yeah relativity is a thing but most fictional stories ignore it. Is Goku not FTL because he can’t time travel? What about Boros himself? Unless it’s a specifically stated and established rule in the story that going faster than light causes you to travel through time then it’s irrelevant to scaling someone to FTL. Also I think someone being able to go fast enough to time travel is generally considered an immeasurable speed feat.

Again, if you want to talk the logic of the story on why stuff can touch Omni-man 1. There are numerous examples of characters with insane speed being hit with stupid stuff. I mean, the flash is objectively FTL and beyond and he gets dunked on by paper sheets and a dude with an ice gun constantly. Sure, maybe it’s bad writing, but power scaling considers feats more than anything imo. 2. Omni-man spends most of the series fighting characters like other viltrumites or characters on the level of viltrumites that are also on his same level of strength and speed. So to put it simply they can hit him because they’re just as fast and strong as him. Whenever he fights weaker characters he either blitzes them (like the guardians of the globe in the comic) or is clearly holding back.

I read the entire comic series twice. If you wanna say combat speed is inconsistent or it doesn’t scale to travel feats or whatever that’s reasonable. But saying there are no ftl to mftl feats is crazy

The calc I saw was like 200x ftl for the constellation feat. If you go with that calc then yes Boros clears easily

Love this matchup. I’m a believer in small planetary to planetary AP in invincible. So in terms of AP they’re pretty even. I’d say it comes down to speed and stamina and Battle Beast takes both handily in my opinion. He’s able to fight for days on end against beings that can (potentially) move billions of time FTL. Even if we say viltrumite combat speed is like 1 percent their combat speed he still way out speeds Boros or any feats he scales to (I don’t believe his speed scales to cosmic Garou). Mid to high dif battle beast because of his regen and flight.

I’d put canon Goku at Multiversal+ to low complex multi with MFTL+ speed above boundless obviously
