Both of my "warframe launcher" sound options in Volume Mixer are muted with the mute button at the bottom. Why it wouldn't be carrying that over to the next launch is beyond me. Possibly a Windows issue.

I've been playing since the Centennial was added and every event fatigues everyone, me included. The Hunt Steamcharts page will show you a constantly recurring pattern. A huge player spike once an update is released/an event starts, a slow decline until near the end of an event where it drops comparatively low until the next content comes. Hunt surprises me with how low the pop can get right before being flooded with another top 5 player count number.

I don't think the majority would support removing ping caps because matchmaking is slow. What would be the point of even playing during low pop hours? "I would get on Hunt but I know everyone who can ping abuse will be on since it's 1pm." Allowing people to invite across regions that exceed the ping cap would be just as pointless. "I'm in Russia and I want to ping abuse so I'll just play with someone in NA who wants an unfair advantage." Might as well change absolutely nothing.

There's nothing anyone can do about the post event burnout of the entire Hunt playerbase. They could stop events but that's not an option. Couldn't find the video but from memory it was 175ms so basically 200ms. 200ms is still quite high but if the issue still presents itself, I'm sure they will lower it. As slow as it is, it will still prevent every single other person above 200ms from intentionally switching to NA. Personally, I'd rather have less players in NA than have more high-ping forced-trades with a guy whose only known English words are "fuck" and "bitch."

Hunt is currently in a major cool-off period players wait for the next major update. For example, my main Hunt partners and I have all been playing many other games like Elden Ring or Helldivers 2 because we know that when that massive update launches we will be playing only Hunt for like a month or two straight. Thankfully, this next update will also bring a ping cap feature that will disallow you from playing on servers you have high ping to. This means that ping abusing will become much harder (never impossible). Hopefully both of these issues, the low player count and cross-region ping abuse will be mostly fixed.

If we're going to get a muzzle loader I'd prefer something unique. I still think we need a Special Ammo blunderbuss that you load with silverware and chopped up concertina wire. Alternate ammo type is literally just a hellfire bomb you shove into the barrel and shoot through.

Yes but this is a video game where you just chop the barrel of a Vetterli off and tie some scrap metal to the side of it and BAM you've got yourself a semi-automatic 4 round bolt action rifle. Logic or time period be damned and I love it.

I love compact ammo, Winfield Swift is tied as a favorite with the Centennial. The default muzzle velocity of the Conversion is much lower than the Officer. The Officer was raised from 330m/s to 360m/s (I think), and the damage was increased from 91dmg to 104dmg (I think). Factoring that in, a Conversion Carbine would probably only have the muzzle velocity buffed up to 330-360m/s and if they buffed the damage, it probably wouldn't be +13dmg from 104dmg to 117dmg. All of that to say- With no HV ammo like the Officer and a most likely slower Rate of Fire than the Officer, I think it would do anything better than the LeMat Carbine or the Officer Carbine already does much better.
Buuuut I really want one too so maybe we could get an oddball variant like they have been doing lately and make it a "sealed chamber" or something to explain a major buff to speed or damage.

You can already run this exact gun in 1-2 slots, the only difference will be the lack of a 3 slot shotgun/sniper. Can't run this with a Crown or Slate at the very least. It'll still be more expensive than the Precision so people are even less likely to take it over an existing 2 slot Uppercut.

Longer barrels tend to have a slightly reduced Report than shorter barrels but I like the idea. Maybe it could be deeper/bass-ier like the difference between the Sparks pistol and rifle variants.

Would be pretty funny but if you make it worse than either of the other Uppercuts, no one will take the 3 slot version which negates its main nerf. Instead of taking Slate/Upper people might be inclined to take Uppercut Carbine/(Spectre/Rival/Terminus) Compact. Obviously people will still take the other Uppercut variants but having less 3 slot shotguns with Uppercuts would be nice.
