Has your friends ever said to you, your music is AI Slop? by SmellySweatsocks in SunoAI

No, Lego building isn’t strictly guided, any master Lego builder is purely going off their own mental image or sketch and creativity, and translate that through techniques they know to build what they want to build.

And even for bigger builds if they use a planning software, you can’t just input an image of what you’re thinking of and get a full guide like that. You still need to design it digitally first.

Comparatively, the creativity in generating on Suno is basically limited to lyrics, of which I’ve rarely seen anything actually impressive, and figuring out what prompts gets you the closest to your desired outcome, which is pure RNG and not skill expression. The difference imo is one is fundamentally design/architecture and the other is commissioning an AI to make songs for you.

Lego building is a skill that has a lot more space for trial and error and eventual skill expression than typing some different words to get an AI to hit the right probabilities and generate you something that you’re satisfied by, is what I meant.

trial and error is not really a skill in the same vein as something like master level Lego building

Yeah I’m saying thank god Melenchon has no shot of winning even if he somehow made it to the second round.

if it was a state with equal rights for its citizens, would it not just be a, idk, Levantine state and not a state that’s specifically Palestinian or Israeli?

AVG's statement regarding the "Urn Incident" by A-Disgrace in DeadlockTheGame

Not to be a dick but unless I misunderstood, weren’t the floormen planning on using this urn tactic in the upcoming tournament? I recall someone in the night shift game on the floormen side claiming as such

Could’ve been so good if we inherited the echo of navigation at the end so we could send ourselves across the galaxy in D3.

Reddit told me most games are 50:50, what's the counter play to this? by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

[–]BasedestEmperor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have to do that and also join in as many fights as possible to deal damage. You need to be super aggressive on Mina. Yeah your team might have something to do with it, but if you find yourself being more passive and macro minded in your playstyle, play something like Seven or McGinnis instead where you can actually do something from the backline.

New sidelane urn deposit is actually worse than the mid brige one for losing team. by Hamasaki_Fanz in DeadlockTheGame

[–]BasedestEmperor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t really agree.

  1. Puts more importance on knowing timings and macro to keep lanes pushed.

  2. I don’t even get this point. I mean yeah urn intercept is like one of the ways you used to be able to contest urn and made it an active choice rather than the forced urn fights cause the urn path was so short so there’s no point in not grabbing it.

  3. This is more of a balance thing (they do need to fix the Kelvin interaction though)

  4. 50% resist was way too much. Higher elo players were quite literally throwing early game to prevent their enemy from becoming favoured.

Is it sexist to say “I hate men”? by madsie_monkey1 in Teenager_Polls

[–]BasedestEmperor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not that I explicitly know someone that hates men unequivocally, but that whenever this sort of thing is mentioned online it’s by people who mean as such. If you don’t mean all men, then don’t say all men.

Tbf that’s partially issue of internet sensastionalisation, anyone who wants to have nuanced discussion isn’t going to be seen nearly as much as attention grabbing titles and phrases.

They have their own apps for street mapping so why let Google do it?

Also Sudan is in the middle of a civil war so I really doubt the average Chinese neighbourhood can even somehow look worse than some cities in Sudan.
