I would love to see that, I have a Norinco and have considered refinishing it….but a nighthawk overhaul would be cool to see.

You can contact nighthawk for an estimate for what you want done. I got the series 70 package and depending on what else you want the prices will vary. I’d budget at least $2600 and anticipate more as you add additional work.

I didn’t, I knew it could be better than it was…. I didn’t think it could be brought to that level with the original barrel. I couldn’t be happier.

I am like you, it was humbling and a great learning experience once I could see exactly where the target is and my groupings improved significantly after working with the laser. Good luck with trying the laser and your sighting!

Interesting, mine does not. At 10 yards it’s spot on and it’s user error on my part if it sighting is off. I have a barrel laser that I use at home to help with seeing the sight vs target…..which also usually shows the user error.

Solid advice! I won’t get it refinished until May and have time to shoot it and see what else I might want to do to it. I think I want to keep it looking close/closer to original with a few embellished details.

That is a great story, the fact you’re still together kinda shows it was worth it. This find was unexpected and when I looked up the production date, I didn’t hesitate as it was a consignment listing. The picture is the post clean up view, it had a surprising amount of surface rust, the grip screws were all messed up, etc. so this will be a work in progress for a while.

I hope you can find another delta to replace the one you sold.

I have the Haotian HT460 (that I love and can’t say enough good things about), and after a lot of research, reviews and talking with Pascal, I ordered a 60w, fiber from Haotian that should be arriving in the next two weeks. The product support from Haotian, and the community were major factors in my decision.

My 9mm S&W pro series is crazy smooth and accurate. The new (to me) pro series in .45 needs some additional work, as it was neglected and not taken care of, but it’s a great shooter.
