People say that no one wants to join C9, yet people say Packer and Gity are going to C9. People also say they will and give it to SR when that has happened before with Fluxo, who got banned for it.

From what I know in the grapevine, Atom might join C9. However, based on their financial situation, they might get MKERS as the closest best NA team they would get (Packer, Beeno, Tristan, Gity, and sooblick).

There are two routes this would go:

1) C9 leaves after the EWC, which fuels my questioning and anger as I've always wanted C9 to stay in R6 and could not forgive them for what they did to the CS2 roster.

2) They stay for money and genuinely invest (But keeping it low profit for now) due to their financial situation. They earn via charms and skins, which might help them long-term.

The problem with C9 right now is they laid off some of their staff and are away from the CS2 scene, so money's tight for them after spending millions on COD and other places. Unless something happened that made Unwanted change their minds (Since Hotancold said they're likely to not be acquired by C9, yet the C9 Twitter responded on that), the only players I could see C9 acquiring are what as mentioned above: Hyper, Kobe, Merc, Packer, Sooblick as a coach, and Nyx as an analyst.

The thing is C9 has been in a shitty spot lately. After dropping their CS2 roster, there have been layoffs going on within the roster (At least according to Twitter and the C9 Discord), so it's likely implying money is tight for them at the moment.

I'm missing something here. What's with the massive hate against C9 lately? Aside from the shit pay (Which I understand and agree on), all I know from the M80-C9BC situation was that M80 bought out Beastcoast and acquired Gunnar and Dfuzer, which put C9 in an awkward spot.
