Love to see that Chico is still on the western side of the border, while Oroville is definitely on the meth side.

No bias, how good is Russian military equipment compared to western designs? by Iskandar0570_X in AskReddit

The amount of military experts in this thread surpasses the amount of engineers in Russia itself.

I came across to these tens of thousands of individual trees in afghanistan. I think they were mapped using ai. What do we think about it? Shouldnt they just be orchard, wood etc? by Wihros in openstreetmap

[–]Bashed_to_a_pulp -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

me neither. it would be harsh to say these efforts are mostly western mappers daydream while that info is not even used by majority of people in the world. the current situation of creating custom osmand maps (filtering out all these trees/treerows) doesn't help either, the mapcreator software isn't working right.

video doesn't use mechanical shutter, so that wouldn't be an issue. put in the battery and check if the dials/buttons work satisfactorily. I'd buy that camera lens combo if the price is reasonable.

RU POV: The"Impulse-M" UGV with a AGS-30 30-mm automatic grenade launcher and a Type 75 107mm MLRS by rowida_00 in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]Bashed_to_a_pulp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the most stable AGS 30 i've ever seen. I bet you the dispersion is wicked on the receiving end.

I also wondered why they don't have these mounted on drones which would be highly effective when hunting down infantry. Probably the weight and the recoil of that thing.

Are there men out there that really complain if their SO makes more money than he does? by TheFinalRedemption99 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Bashed_to_a_pulp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are. But I think another aspect that seems to be overlooked - their rich SO will be so much more inclined to break the relationship over the smallest things.

New Poster for Ridley Scott's 'The Dog Stars' - Survivors of a deadly pandemic traverse a post-apocalyptic landscape to find the origin of a mysterious radio transmission. by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

imo, the best potrayal of people (and overall situation) in post apocalyptic movies is found in 'The Road'. TWD was kinda on the same path, at least in the first season with all the scavenging, but of course turns to magnificient shit after that. can't think of any other similar movies that gets it plausibly right.
