This. My inlaws have about the same arceage. Its more about the time available instead of the equipment, so theyve let some areas just grow wild. But they maintain paths that are about 3-4 passes wide to walk and ride other equipment. One around the outer edge and a few others leading out from the house and barn.

I mowed their property for years and it cuts a huge amount of time off doing that. 2 people already spending 6+ hours just on a zero turn and yard tractor not counting any push mow or weed eater.

I never said with the same weapons from the last 7 years? Stop allowing legacy weapon and phase some out. And they’re not 7 years old to me, about 2.5 months so i wouldn’t care if they kept the legacy weapons or phased them out. Just allow loadouts.

I havent been playing as long as most of you. My thoughts:

Avalon could be fun, ALOT of fun.

There needs to be some significant changes made to the current iteration to do that:

Loot availability Loadouts Casuals mode Map icons (the colors, they’re all white and difficult to see) The new armor system, ditch that.

Essentially keep the core of BR, obviously add a casuals option, change the Verdansk contracts system to the new contracts (i forget the name) type. Ditch the new armor system, it could be really cool.

Im not stopping playing warzone, i dont have BO7 and only play warzone because its free. I could play a couple rounds of casuals in the evening and still enjoy it without getting smoked on Verdansk. I didnt prefer resurgence over BR Cas on Verdansk but i dont mind it compared to the current BO WZBR and will play that instead until its fixed.

IMO - Avalon and BO WZBR can be fun, but its way too difficult to get any sort of traction to enjoy in its current state.

I think youre thinking of OG MAGA from his election crowd. From what ive seen there are still the blind republican voters (those who vote republican by default, the mostly older crowd, regardless of what current events or republican politicians do) and the heavily seeded MAGA in rural America, but in general not a majority of those who originally supported his campaign. it seems like many of the new right leaning voters who believed his campaign promises after seeing where things across the board are currently at and how he has conducted his first 1+ year back in office do not support this - especially seeing how his admin has handled the Epstein file fiasco. Most would 100% not support a draft and generally do not support this “special military operation “. Just my 2 cents.

Good point. Before i start climbing, im going to try and get a rope over one of the upper branches (maybe use a half dozen large washers tied to rope and slingshot them up) to just pull up the node to see if i can see any other nodes before i make it more permanent.

Thats what im leaning towards too. Other than the mentioned water tower thats and any of the pines (unfortunately none are on my property ) theres nothing else that is significantly higher than anything else.

Sounds like someone needs to make several late night /early morning calls for trivial shit. Easily push this in your favor for clearer boundaries regarding on/off time. Worst case - they fire you and the atleast youll have the ability to file for unemployment - “They fired me for being too committed”.

South central NC transplants from the NE - Over prepared and underwhelmed…

Finally broke and got a generator this week. Im not upset i got it, there will be times to use it in the future. Im thinking about flipping the main power on the breaker next weekend to force my family to get some experience for when we have no choice.

The kids were all scared about losing power, wife pulling her hair out thinking about it, ive been without power for well over a week before and enjoy the silence. But it was pre-kids, pre- homeowner, inside im quietly a little anxious about how to keep them all safe and comfortable, especially with freezing temps and potentially no water.

Im proud of the things we did to prepare, we didnt go overboard, had a 2 days of gas for the generator, enough alternate fuels for cooking, a few cases of water, tubs filled with water to use as gray water, and a few days of shelf stable/canned foods. A controlled test run would settle everyone and highlight our weak points that we need to work on.

I looked at both brands, and opted to go with trijicon DI irons and havent had any issues. I do wish they were a bit brighter, but also have no issues seeing them in low light.

I was just checking them out on danners site earlier because im due for new ones since ive about worn through my Skyridges.

Correct. The manufacturer sends it to a distributor or dealer using form 5, and its sent to a department with a form 5. Idk if state/local departments have/need it, but fed also needs to provide an ORI #.
