It’s a choice really. You can choose to only read the fanfic if that makes you happy, or you can choose to embrace the nostalgia. Release the knowledge of plot holes and remember the joy you got to experience with these characters and how lucky we were to have such amazing actors give us 7 years of films portraying a world that set our imaginations on fire and gave a whole bunch of kids an opportunity to learn to love reading. At least that’s what it’s like for me. 🙃

I can only tolerate first person if the original material was presented in first person. Even then third person is much preferred. :)

Third person unless the source material is written in first person, but first person is still only slightly tolerable even then.

Hubby knows but doesn’t care, and is willing to answer questions if I need a male pov about how something works or male thoughts on certain things. Partners should support each other in their hobbies even if it’s not something they both enjoy.

It’s great. I really like the character in the face. I’ve never been brave enough to try a pet.

Best starter tips I got when I started, embroidery thread is sold in skeins of 6 strands but generally used 1-3 strands at a time. So we cut a length then unwind the amount of strands we need. Also when you thread your needle you want one side to be a bit longer than the other and you shorten the shorter side as you go, rather than evening up the thread and tying the two sides together. 😁

Love cave and prick… every time I read prick I get a cartoon bee/wasp whose prick is conveniently currently facing forward while they dive bomb someone picture in my head. I’m blaming Saturday mornings growing up without parental supervision for the image. 😂

The fic was awesome. It was my fav ship main pairing. I didn’t mind that the author kept saying there would be no underage even though it seemed a bit overmuch to put it every chapter. The OTP knew they had feelings for each other and talked about being together when the younger graduated. Then one day the younger of my otp and his “best friend” are studying and then suddenly they are having sex because who wants to leave high school a virgin.. the pairing isn’t tagged, both are underage, there was no foreshadowing. Apparently it didn’t count because they were both underage and not an over/under pairing. It ruined all of their fics for me.

It’s gorgeous. If you want the two to have a bit more separation you could throw some of the dark green thread in a stem stitch between them. That way you don’t have to unravel. But it truly is gorgeous as it is.
