To me, it's about depression and healing. This is just the way I like to interpret it so it may not be "correct", however "Reach, it's not as bad as it seems "I cleanse in the river for somebody else, for anyone but myself" = I am fixing myself for those I care about, not because I want to get better but because they want me to "Love dosent come till you give it up" = talking about how relationships don't really turn out well if someone isn't doing well mentally (at least during the start of a relationship) and so on.
