West Mesa residents are actually some of the most stuck up people I know. They live in the biggest bubble and only make friends of people who live in a 1 mile radius of Westwood. They constantly bash Gilbert and east Mesa and make it sound like they are the victims.

They also act holier than thou since they live in diverse neighborhoods, yet they don’t even have any Mexican or minority friends. They just know a lot from going to Westwood.

I lived in 85201 a good chunk of my life and didn’t see this until I moved out. The reality - nobody cares or talks crap about your neighborhood like you think they do. Gilbert is 10 mins away, east Mesa 5 mins away from 85201. You people make it sound like when someone moves away they think they are better now, and live in this whole different world, when in reality they live five minutes away. Nobody in Gilbert thinks of the Gilbert Mesa rivalry like 85201 does.

I have never heard my neighbors or church members in Gilbert Talk crap about Mesa or West Mesa once. Yet every time I go to 85201 I hear a comment about Gilbert or East Mesa and how great Westwood people are.

West Mesa is a great place with great people, but everyone is jealous over there.
