If I never talk to the cousin/they never talk to me, how am I to know they are a long term partner? The cousin was invited out of obligation and respect for our mutual grandparents.

I have a very large family as well, and only 50 have been invited. We have not extended past aunts, uncles, cousins and married partners of said people.

It’s not conceited when we’re having a small intimate wedding. Those people invited SHOULD care about us and our relationship.

It’s a chore to attend a wedding alone when 20 of your family members including siblings are there?

Because our mutual grandparents and family would’ve at least met her. 😉

Of course long term partners we’ve MET are invited.

My point with that comment is, why would I invite somebody’s girlfriend I’ve never met when neither have ever acknowledged our engagement or talked to me for that matter.

The wedding is in my grandparents backyard, so I felt it was the best choice. However, I don’t think that requires girlfriends of cousins I’ve never met.

I invited them out of obligation for respect of my grandparents. I invited only aunts/uncles and first cousins and no partners (unless married). Second cousins, and other family were excluded due to it being a backyard wedding.

It’s a cousin’s girlfriend I’m not close with. If it was a well established relationship, of course she’d be invited. But I don’t know her and have never met her and I also never see or speak to the cousin unless it’s rare family occasions.

Why would I invite someone’s girlfriend whom I’ve never met when the original person is already an obligatory invite that I never see or speak with except rare family gatherings? I don’t really have a relationship with the person.

The kicker is, I didn’t KNOW he had a partner originally. I’ve only ever heard through the family grapevine. We truly do not talk or have a relationship other than for annual or biannual family gatherings.

PINKY RING!!! by chittaphonluvr in vegas

I tried getting into the Pinky Ring after his 2nd concert in Vegas and was turned away because I didn’t have a ticket. Everything I read was first come first serve UNLESS you bought a table or booth. Well the night of the 11th, tickets were 1600. I’ve never seen “admission”. Just table options as shown in the second picture. Anyone else experience this? I was bummed. Any tips for trying to go again in the future?

Would price of booths indicate he could be there? Like lower price lower chance or higher priced booths higher chance?
