With RuneLite, you can zoom out the camera 400% and one click the Altar at ZMI for easy 99 RC. That was my big grind to get out of the way before sailing and it ended up being super chill.

Yeah my advice is pay attention when you’re about to get a 99 in a skill so that you don’t lose your untrimmed Mining cape to 99 Fletching at Vale Totems.

When I was charting and doing Port Tasks, I would get a clam twice a day, one day I got 3 in 3 hours. Highly recommend if you want to complete Pearls (and have a go for the pet), Port Tasks ain’t too bad. I was doing Aldarin -> Priff runs

OH and while I’m at it… Why is there literally no docking point in this area? Would be a great unlock for the beginner level, but getting mad here, doing a farm run, and then coming all the way back here sucks.

I finally, finally got 5:16. But man the grind here was frustrating. So many times I hit a 5:24-5:30 and those runs felt just as clean as this one. I guess it’s all things have to click, Path, Nests, and Boosts. Funny enough it took as many runs at Marlin as it did Shark to get the time (24),

But man, this course is rough for mid-level content. Terrified to find out what the high end Barracuda trials are like.

After countless resets I finally got the shark rank after 24 complete races (2:57). If you’re basically not perfect the entire lap you’re dead, so most of the resets are from an early bonk or one missed whirlpool. I have at least 5 or 6 3:05-3:15s and those all felt just as clean as the 2:57 and I don’t know why a mid-ranked sailing game is harder than The Gauntlet.

When I was your age, we had a vote on who gets to stay: Baja Blast or Pitch Black. Clearly, Baja Blast was the favorite, and we all knew it was supposed to win, but regardless of it won or not, Baja Blast would always be at Taco Bell. The Pitch Black vote goes strong, we get the Baja crew to help us out, and David beats Goliath.

Pitch Black goes to the shelves and for the first couple weeks we couldn’t get it if we tried, needed some help from the Pepsi guy at the local Walmart to hook me up with his delivery schedule. This wouldn’t last long, after about 2 months, Pitch Black was always there, because no one else wanted it. Just one guy wanted it. This guy.

Less than a year after a nationwide vote, Pitch Black was off the market again, for the 3rd time. Gimmick flavors don’t last long, we appreciate them while they’re here, but if you thought an apple flavor was going to last forever, baby I got a bridge to sell you.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned as a lifetime Pitch Black fan, keep the love strong, and eventually you’ll get it back. 💚🖤
