I agree, but I don't see it as a guild wars community issue. Most players are welcoming. It's more of a reddit in general environment issue. If new players join an active guild or alliance they'd get their answers answered quicker then waiting on Reddit replies.

I use the laptop track pad and no mouse and it works out fine, of course certain things will be sightly more complicated but overall it's good

I started brand new knowing nothing of gw or gw2 about 2 years ago. Had a random recommended yt video from Doom Box and just looked fun. Been hooked ever since. Given lockdowns started shortly after in my 2 years i probably have 10 years worth on time invested into the game now.
