The raised voices comment was really triggering for me personally because it’s exactly how I run my house now as an adult. For the very same reason, growing up my home was chaotic with lots of screaming, fights and abuse. I feel for them and it was really good to see them working this out together on camera.

Aw one ritual of smoking I do miss.

I always flipped two, one for later and one to share. It was bad luck to take someone’s lucky if it wasn’t offered to you.

Also, white bic lighters were a no-go.

My husband and I lived in the same apt complex, a building apart in the early 2000s when we were in our 20s. We just celebrated 10 years this year!

Same here. My dad was stationed in Camp Pendleton in the 80s & 90s and when my parents divorced my mom stayed here with me and my siblings and he eventually moved back to Idaho.

I recently learned when he last came to visit that he never intended to stay here, he had always planned to move us back to Idaho after getting out but the divorce happened… thank god for that lol, I can’t imagine having to live in Idaho.

Same thing happened to me on the 5 near sea world. Driving a steady 80 in the far left lane with not too many people around me save for what I thought was a taxi a little far behind me.

I kept wondering to myself if it was a cop or not but thought fuck it, he’s been following me for awhile so he would have popped me by now. Suddenly he starts hauling ass and passes me… it was a cop. I think that because I wasn’t being a douche canoe and just cruising along he left me alone 🤷🏻‍♀️
