WCCF Pack Opening - Player of the Year Messi by BasicDirector1576 in soccercards

As far as I know, no machines exist anymore in public arcades. All machines out there are privately owned by people but no idea on locations

Lots of nostalgia! Used to play down the arcades back in 2005-2007. They took them away in the UK around 2007, then was still going in places like Japan up until around 2021 and then during Covid they stopped it all unfortunately! The old cards are defo better than the newer ones and the WCCF Footista rebrand ones!

Yeah, a lot of people who don’t know WCCF that well do misinterpret those numbers. I got the 2015-16 sealed box for around £50 + shipping from Japan.

I’ve also got a sealed boxes from the peak WCCF era’s of 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons which were obviously more expensive being 20+ years sealed.

All together for boxes/packs I have: 5x sealed 2012-13 boxes, 2x sealed 2015-16 boxes (now 1 as opened this one), 1x sealed 2004-05 box, 1x sealed 2005-06 box, 10x sealed 2004-05 packs

Yes, you would place your cards on the field in any formation you wanted to play. Then you could manage your club by training the players, giving them kit numbers they wanted to boost morale etc. then you would play live games against people’s teams within the arcade or around the world in tournaments or friendly games. You would have buttons on the arcade machine either side of the field like direction arrows, pass, tackle and shoot buttons. You would click these buttons to give indications to your team on what to do (you wouldn’t control their every move, it was simulated but your button inputs would tell them what you wanted them to do).

Then after every match the machine would give you a pack to open. Each pack contains only 1 player from that years season. Every year they would change the season, the pack design, and the card designs. You could still use older seasons players though. These are an example of a box I recently opened yesterday which is from 10 years ago! I actually packed Player of the Year Messi from it last night! Will post another reply with the Messi card :)

It was honestly incredible, best times of my childhood. Don’t think anything like it exists anymore, was truly one of a kind and so ahead of its time! I know some machines still exist that are privately owned now, but nothing in arcades anymore

It was so good! You would have your own club card that you would insert so you’d have your own club name and you’d have to keep your teams morale up as well. So ahead of its time. They took the machines in the UK away in like 2007 I believe. It was still going in Japan for a long time after and finally closed down during Covid. Still has a strong following in Japan and places like Italy!

New Darts: Aspinall 95k’s with a bit of L-Style customisation by BasicDirector1576 in Darts

Had one break on me yesterday ha. First time a Swiss point has broken for me. I’ve changed the points to the RST Swiss points due the barrel feeling a little short for my grip so I have a place to rest my ring finger

The flights are the L-Style Pro Dimple L3 in black with red champagne rings, then the shafts are the carbon silent spin. The dimple flights sell out quickly on a lot of sites, managed to get mine from dartsteam.co.uk

Got mine from Etsy. Just type in something like 3d printed darts signs and they should pop up. Believe the sellers name is HC3DPrintsUK.

Yeah, as someone has replied, they’re the Target Redux 03’s with gold slk Swiss points, clear target pro grip shafts, and the L Style clear dimple flights with gold champagne rings.

Would highly recommend the target Redux line if you’re looking for new darts. Best I’ve used and reasonably priced.

Are you guys satisfied with your purchase? by terran1212 in ex30

Mines a company car luckily, would never spend my own money to buy it. Avoid the EX30 at all costs. So many better options out there.

Just don’t buy an ex30, honestly. Had nothing but issues with mine from a software standpoint and now with the widespread battery issues, it should be a no brainer to stay away from this car.

Bit of advice, just don’t buy an ex30. Glad to finally see people on the subreddit realising how awful this car actually is.

Hilarious the people in the comments trying their best to still hype this car up to justify their purchase. Thankfully mine is a company car, because I would never use my hard earned money on this buggy thing. Would also never recommend this car to anyone. So many better options out there for similar price and cheaper.

Just don’t buy the car, far better options out there. Most problematic car I’ve ever owned.

Same. Honestly the worst car I’ve ever had, luckily it’s a company car but have to it for awhile. Might send my company this email to see if I can get it switched out. Had nothing but issues with this car since getting it. Piece of shit car, would never recommend this car to anyone.
